thanks
hmmm... I saw that tutorial http://uklassinus.blogspot.com/2008/08/fabric-dollhouse-tutorial.html (for my car bag)
but I haven't been able to find the plastic canvas near me (I only have JL, Fabric land and a few ££££ quilting shops). I was also thinking about the pelmet vilene but thought it might crease in the wash.
Looks like the canvas will do the job I have in mind, just have to search online for it now...0 -

If anyone has scraps to use up, and needs practice on the machine, please think about making some.

Can any of you lovely peeps help me please!
How do you wash felt (and do you have to wash it before you use it?)
Im about to start making my rabbit and cat toys with felt but I have no clue how to wash it. Ive googled it but getting conflicting advice. Also, Ive read that you have to air dry it but I dont have a garden (or a tumble dryer) so not sure if it will work properly. Any advice would be v. much appreciated. Id rather not bother but not sure if it makes it a bit fluffier and softer to work with. This is my first time using felt so Im a bit clueless. Thanks in advance. x0 -
Hello everyone,
I have been admiring everyones projects on here for the past couple of weeks and have even been inspired enough to start making sock monkeys! It was a bit of a faff as I only had one of those mini sewing machines and I was trying to save up for a new machine. However, I have now been given a Toyota machine. The model number is 2466. Would anyone have any idea where I can get an instruction manual for this machine?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a growing bundle of colourful socks I want to transform into monkeys / other animals.0
