23rdSpiral welcome back and glad you have enjoyed the swap i think we all did.

I am off to Gran Canaria on staurday so will be AWOL for a few weeks (unless i log on in a cyber cafe:D). i am going to try and set up some scheduled posts on my blog if i can work it out. Hope you all have fun sewing while i'm gone :D

hey Tina, have fun in Gran Canaria... whereabouts you headed? we went in March and LOVED it... even though we were a bit sceptical of going AI to a resort it was just lovely!

~ i had cause to sit in the baking sun keeping an eye on my car for an hour today... and made quite a few more hexies... including some very mini ones... of which i've even broken the fear and sewed a few together! woop!:T

It will peel off & I have managed to repair 1 pair but trying to do the others it isn't working so perhaps the stuff is too old.

I have been busy making some more lavender hearts as teachers' gifts but the more exciting news is that I'm putting ideas together for a Christmas gift! It's a piece of embroidery so it will take me a while to do, quite exciting! So after talking about that I put in a haberdashery order of all lovely Christmassy things like red ric rac and pom pom fringing to embellish Christmas stockings. Now I am on the hunt for a selection of different patterned red fabrics (cottons, needlecord, etc). I'm planning on stockings like Kirstie Allsop did on her Christmas crafts tv programme. :santa2: :rotfl:
