    Hi nuttywoman

I upload my pics onto photobucket then copy the IMG code on the left hand side of the screen and then paste it onto my post. Did that help:confused:

  • Hi everyone. I bought myself a sewing machine yesterday which was delivered today. I made my first thing which was a wheat bag to keep my dog warm at night. It was quick and easy to do and made from some old fleece and some of the chickens' wheat. Realy quick and easy. The machine is really easy to use too and comes with everything I need for now.

    I bought this starter package.

Thanks stardrops42 for blanket fabric advice.
I never thought to use pre-made sheets. Great idea!
I have looked at cheap "adult" fleeces with the idea of cutting them up but worried a bit about the "anti pil" thing with them being for babies.
I wonder if it would be the same fleece as used for baby blankets! Sorry for waffling on!
Anyway, thanks for your kind offer but it will be a while before I make a start.
I used to do a lot of sewing years back but my machine is quite old now and I wasn't going to start again but I blame this thread for setting the seed again.
