I've bought from this seller before and the fabric was great. She has a mystery pack of 10 fat quarters (you choose the colour) for £9.99 and £2.60 p+p. This isn't what I bought but I think it's a pretty good deal!
  • i have just cut all my parts to make a cushion which i will sew tonight when the kids r in bed (theyre nosy little brats and wont be able to resist sticking there hands in the machine!)
itll be my first ever project on my sewing machine and im stupidly excited to get started!

for anyone in yorkshire its worth popping to tonys textiles if theres one in ur area. i got cushion pads (really thick and squashy ones) £1 each. they was also selling packs of 2 pillowcases (for the bed) for £1 and they had some pink curtains (which have a little ballerina at the bottom) £1.95 theyre really long so perfect for the fabric at that price.
i also picked up some red voile swags for £2.95 they had all different colours

well worth a look for fabric needs

How about this little project. It's for sewn slippers and here's the tutorial

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Car Insurance Carver! Xmas Saver!
i've a question if you dont mind... is it too late to finish the last Xmas Stocking?! :xmassmile What i've done so far is cut the lining, back and wadding to shape and stitched an old gingham shirt cuff on for the cuff. My nan was sick so i ran out of time to do any more.

So i'm unsure whether to pack it up as is with some extra fabric to finish it off, but i dont like leaving things unfinished as they might stay that way! Or should finish it now/thursday? Oh, is it bad luck going past 12th night? Or am I totally daft either way for worrying about it? :rotfl:
