I've made all sorts recently, but I've been really busy at work this week, so sewing has been neglected although I'm off tomorrow, so here's to a busy and fun day!
The last photo is a bunny from a baby sock, and looks better in reality than in this photo.0 -

LOL, I find it really easy to put them in make up bags etc but zip extensions like in the bag made earlier are a whole different story!! This tutorial is how I learnt. Makes it so easy.

I've been having fun with the tent this evening. I've decided I need the elastic bands after all. The string doesn't move very well because the bamboo is too knobbly. We only have thin bands so I have to go in search of nice big thick ones. I have cut the fabric though which took some doing. I was so worried about cutting it too short.0 -

had many happy hours in Joann with my daughter when I went to see her in Jan 2008 when her baby came into this world. Wish they had stores over here. I often send her links for "supplies" then she sends them over to me. My DD2 spent a lengthy time with big sister and when she came home she had all my goodies for me.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0 -
Morning all.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial for a cross body bag? After looking at my recent creations, my sister has asked me to make her a bag! She would like one with a long cross body strap.
Sethsgran ~ I love that tent idea, might have to put that on my to do list!0 -

Fruitloop, there are loads of bags on here, some of them with longer straps. You should find something on this

Hehe, Im in the middle of making a bag to go over my shoulder with a zip in the topI just wanted a small bag that I could put my purse and a few bits in (like the sort you take on hol's).
I will post a pic later when it's done
I looked everywhere for a tutorial/pattern but couldnt find what I wantedI had this bright idea (not bad for me :rotfl:) that if I looked up make-up bag then I only have to make my bag a bit longer
I only want small straps so putting them in wont be a prob (I hope :rotfl:)

Im running out of ideas on what to do next. Thinking I might try and make another skirt so I dont forget how to do it! Im currently making a jar of "pickled bums" for my sister (we used to have them when we were kids and I came across the tutorial so thought Id make her some to bring back old memories!) Incase anyone thinks Ive gone completely mad and dont know what they are, this is them. :dance:0
