Missing for a while as been so busy sewing at work these days. I put my pictures on my Facebook a lot, but these days using my phone rather then the computer I don't tend to be able to upload my pictures on here. Must investigate.

Thank you Eddi. Each quilt I make is made for someone special in my life. This one is my for my daughter.

It's beautiful it really is. I've never attempted a quilt, I can never get my head round it.

Eddi, I have only started making quilts seriously the last couple of years. I figured I had enough test pieces of embroidery lying around the house and needed to d spomething creative with them, so my first naive was born. I had a rough idea of how to do it, so it was a matter of You Tube and watching how they were done to improve. This year i have joined a quilting group and this quilt is the result of taking myself out of my comfort zone. i was urprised at how much I did know. Now I am able to make quilts using my embroidery machine and my sewing machine. I still have a lot to learn about traditional quilting and as I am able to In the Hoop quilt, the world is my oyster. Go on, be brave and take the step...
  • Thank you for that I bought my machine a Brother Innovis 750e at one of the crafting shows a few years ago as there were no sewing shops where i live on the coast in south east Kent.

Hmmmm  I still have shedloads of material left from my Venice carnival costume and scraps of other interesting bits I've found over time. They're all just rolled up in a storage box that I keep saying I'll do something with. I may try something small :)

Really like the fabric. Ooh, I've seen some navy blue with red dots polycotton, I bet that could be interesting...
