Hi
I am new to the forum but have enjoyed reading several of your posts. Can anyone help me with Embroidery machine servicing?
I have spoken to 4 local shops about servicing and none of them will give me a rough idea of the price of a service without any parts i may need.
The only way I can compare prices is to take my machine into each of them.

Hello Busy Sewing,
What is the make of embroidery machine? where do you live> How old is your machine? Are you prepared to travel to have your machine serviced. i am asking this as I have two embroidery machines and I can recommend two people to service the m,achines. the parts costs are another question. Dis d you buy your machine through a dealership?
I pay £69.00 for the older machine to be serviced and I have found the parts costs to be reasonable,, he most I have ever paid for service and replacement of a couple of parts is $108.00.
My newer machine I take back to the the shop I bought it from, which does involve at 2 -1/2 hour truip, but the person who services the machine is on hand. I ring and book and time with him. As the machine is still under warranty it costs me nothing. it has a threee year warranty on it, so fingers crossed I wont have too many problens with it for quite some time.0 -
I made this from scratch, it took six hours. It is an In the hoop project using my embroidery machine. I embroidered the poly cotton fabric and then joined the individual pieces using a zig zag stitch on my sewing machine, i don't have a 10 inch tablet, only a seven inch table. Another thing to add to gift stash.
I also embroidered the pillowcases for Ellie and Lilah and made the ballet shoes ribbon bracelet in this album, all embroidery machine work

Makeup/wash bags
Choose some contrasting fabrics and make a quilt
Cushion
Or as said put it in stash and wait for a project to come along0
