    Hello,

I have bought a Brother XL2610 sewing machine, however I am surprised that it doesn't come with a foot controller. Any ideas if this is correct or where I can buy one from? Sorry new to the hobby of sewing.
i would give hobbycraft a shout in the first instance I searched images & found this 1 with a foot pedal, how annoying though, hate that when you're all geared up to start something & can't because somethings missing & it's not even your fault. I'm sure Hobbycraft will sort it out for you.

Does it have the hole bit (lol sorry can't think of the word I want, someone let me know what it is) for a foot pedal to be connected to the machine?

They are lovely hmo. I was going to contact you earlier but didn't get a break at work. Tell me to stop being nosey but your fence rail quilt with the browns and teal can I ask where you got the patterned brown fabric from.
I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!

Well I have finished the dreaded quilt lol. I love it myself, but still aim to try to sell it if I can. If it don't go I won't be too sad though.

That is beautiful. Is that the first quilt you've made?

No Winnie, I have made quite a few in the past, just not done any for a while. This one was a bit of a pain what with the stitching all going wrong, thought I had ruined it but pleased with how its turned out after all the hours embroidering the back lol.

Yes its hand embroidered Hmo, took me about two weeks just to do the embroidery part. Would probably have been quicker to have hand quilted it lol
