Aw thank you everyone for the kind comments - it makes me think I'm not totally wasting my time. Right, prepare to undazzled by my first ever sewing machine project. Bear in mind it took me an hour to thread the machine.

Well you've made a lovely bag. You should be very proud of yourself. Just think of what you can make when your feeling more confident with your machine.
