They are lovely. Im still trying to master the hearts mine seem to turn into balls

these were cut with pinking shears so sewn together with wrong sides facing so they dont need turning inside out. thy come out alot better in shape.

but if you sew them right sides together and turn you need to snip into the fabric around all the curves up to as close as you dare to the stitch line and they need a good pushing out and press before you start to stuff them. hope that helps

Love the hearts hmo. I had trouble doing the sewing bit in a heart shape when I did mine, any tips?! Guess it's just practice.
mumto2monkeys, I'm with winniepooh on watching youtube, showed me what all the bits to my machine were as well as lots of other sewing stuff. Good luck!

I love the patchwork cushions. Like hmo I cant sew by hand even tho I spend a lot of time doing cross stitch, long stitch and tapestries
I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!

Mum2monkeys, that cushion is beautiful, well done.

I am hoping to go up and restart doing the bags I have cut out today as the weather seems a little bit warmer. Still hand embroidering the back of the quilt in the evenings.
