I've been pretty busy with my new puppy but dd made this going out coat for her, out of fur, and a piece of red fabric.
As there is quite a chill in the air I had some blue fur and adapted my dd pattern and made it slightly longer.
It's quite a bright pink in real life (Nikki shares my love of pink and red, haha) with green frogs running up it.
The coat that was purchased in the shop was hopeless as she is so small she kept stepping out of it and didn't like putting her head through the polo type neck.

hi all
im going to make some new envelope cushions for the lounge 5 in total. im on a tight budget of £25. i already have the padding.
im doing solid black backs and patterned front to match the rug, black with big grey/silver swirls.
i have tried charity shops with no luck and im going to try b&m to see if the have any cheap quilt covers.
any suggestions?I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -

afternoon
hope your all well and keeping dry, it hasn't stopped raining here but at least the wind has dropped.
hope your projects are going to plan, . I had to alter the plans for the pelmets. The people I'm doing them for wanted them gathered like the original ones, but as the fabric is thick they wouldn't go right so we decided on pleats instead. I did get the headboards recovered over the weekend. Should have everything done by Friday. Want to make a could door stops next out of old jeans that's next week's task I hope.
happy stitching . take care14 in 2014 in memory of Soulie. 5/14 completed:o

Thanks for the link greentiger - bags are good!
Well I bought 10 of the fabric sample books and think I've died and gone to heaven with the potential of it all at the moment, I may just spread them out and roll around on them for a while like in the film "Buster"
Some of the fabrics have prices on at £75 a metre so I don't want to waste them, but are mainly dry clean so will need some thought, esp the embroidered silk which looks a bit trickyYou never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -
Today I have made a pin cushion for my mum. I made it quite quickly and it looked great so then I thought I would make one for myself and bloody hell did I struggle. I still haven't finished it now. Its the ladder stitch that's frustrating meI'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0
