Hi crafty
Welcome to the thread. I love having exprienced sewers to talk to and get tips from.I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -
Sorry Rufus I've not seen that pattern. Our c.s. sometimes have old sewing patterns in, maybe you might find something in there.
Here is another quilt that I've just finished. The back is a piece of cloth that I asked everyone, who was at my dd wedding reception 15 years ago, to sign and then was embroidered. It was doing nothing in a drawer for many years so now it has got a new lease of life.
More piccys on me bl*g0 -

Rufusdog, I have a few patterns that may be of use to you. I buy a Magazine called My Image, from the netherlands. They are patterns that are multiple sizes, and you trace the pattern according to your size etc. Which also means they are easy to adapt.
I will put a few pictures on my Blog, or somewhere so that you can see them. I dont know about any other way of showing them to you. Unless you PM and we email them?
This morning I have been having trouble with my sewing machines. I guess that really it must mean that my needles or my threads are not of good enough quality. Either that or I am going to need to have 3 machines serviced. I lost my rag, came downstairs and decided that tomorrow is another day, I will just take a deep breath and think of sewing again later on. When I am calm!.
I did some knitting over the weekend, for a change, but need to sew the pieces together before I can say I actually made anything!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
My weekend sewing time consisted of sewing Christmas bunting with leftover and cheap Christmas fabrics (the Christmas decorations box can now go in the loft). I swear I'll never make bunting again - boring as sin!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0

Hello ladies, theres some lovely makes, i'd love to learn to make the quilts.
I thought i'd show you one of my first makes - a present for a handmade secret santa. Really pleased with how it turned out so I made another in red and I'm going to make myself one the same as this one.
Ooh its a bit big - sorry!0
