    Gorgeous HMO :T

What do you do with all these quilts?

The one above I am going to try and sell, the fence rail I posted last week is mine and the tumbler I posted last week is a gift for my aunt for her birthday next week

For the tumbler shapes I used a sizzix die in my cuttlebug I can cut 8 shapes out at a time the quilt above has 64 so it was cut in no time details on my blog

For the fence rail I just used a rotary cutter and ruler

Hi, do all Sissix machines cut fabric? I know that seems a silly question but reading about the seems to imply they only cut card?

Would also be interested to know this.
Cutting irregular shapes correctly has put me off doing some quilting.

i have an electronic cutting machine so i dont use dies very often as i can design and cut any shape or font via my pc to my electronic cutter, but of the ones i do have i have cut fabric with them, i have a large flower, a cupcake, a scollop square and now the tumbler which is a quilting die so by definition should be cut from fabric.

although all my dies are by sizzix i dont have a hand cranked sizzix cutter i.e. big shot i use a cuttlebug cutter only because ive had it years but the dies i use fit the cuttlebug and do cut.

there are other hand cranked cutting machine on the market, ie wizard, grand calibre, but i think the big shot will cut mosts companies dies so most people tend to buy that machine.

theres also the acucut i think they do various size machines and they cut fabric

This is absolutely beautiful and I am in awe at the speed you can do these, maybe one day I will manage to make one without it hurting my brain too much :rotfl:

Where do you buy your wadding from HMO?
