I think it was a fluke! I just must have put the right words into the search engine. Using imesh or something that my son put on the computer. Not my choice of thing but it was the first to pop up.
I spend far too long looking for inspiration etc at the moment. Probably as I cannot get to the machines very easily. Although I made that little pouch and cut out a few more yesterday.
I have also spent a small fortune this week on fabrics and ribbons etc. Now I am silly as that has meant that my ethos of recycling will have been compromised somewhat unless I really do manage to mix things up.
I have a fantastic print of Africa, Serangetti plain coming, I hope. I grew up in Kenya for 3 years as a child, and have wonderful cine films of the animals and the local people etc as well as us out there. So I want to incorporate that into some work soon.
I dont mess around with fabrics enough. I tend to have things away out of site and have to dig to get it. Mostly in the loft which is not so easy to do. I yearn to be organised and have my fabrics colour coded, and at hand but if i did that I would need a warehouse me thinks!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Here`s a Muppet dress i`ve made for my 21 month old grandaughter , fabric cost about £2 a few months back at Abakhan.
Just the buttonholes and hem to finish.

Such a pretty dress nuttywoman. When I was little my mum made a lot of my clothes and I remember I wore pinafores a lot. With smocking. I actually did like them :)
They have opened an Abakhan about 20 minutes from me. It's a great store isn't it? The choice of fabric is fantastic and because you pay by weight I seem to get a heck of a lot for my money.

Paying by weight is good for summer fabrics but not so good for winter weight ones!.
Just ordered too much fabric on 3 different sites. Oops. Get like that when I am bored and or trying to find inspiration at the moment.
Not so good when I have a loft full of fabric though!

That's true Mooloo. Mind you it's usually light cotton fabric that I've bought for suffolk puffs and other little projects.
When I need a bit of inspiration I google images and have a browse at all the wonderful crafts and projects on there. The downside to that is one blog leads to another and before you know it hours have passed!

Hi Liza. If you go on google images and type in the kind of things you might be making, you can get some great ideas and inspiration. There are also numerous free patterns online. Have a look here

I have so many links saved in my favourites these days its huge amount. Did think about copying and pasting them in, but then I am not sure I would not fill a page up.
here is one that has some good things on though, and of course there are many many more similar sites.
