  • Just to make you aware, I was in Dunelm Mill yesterday and the janome sewing machines lx180 are half price down to £59.99!!! I got one and there was a couple left!

Does anyone know where is the best/cheapest place to buy thread for a sewing machine????? I have never sewed before and would love to buy some now so I can get started!!!????

Hello strangers. I am here, but I really havent been logging on to follow. My life has been too hectic.
I have only been making Bunting, bunting and more bunting. Alas not to sell, but for our street party.
Somewhere in the region of 250-300 metres of the stuff. And then some still to do.
I will try and take a picture of the street when its all up. If it gets put up that is!.
We have a party on Tuesday in the street. As I dont really know my neighbours except to say hello to the new ones. Then I hope that it will be a start off.
I am considering taking in alterations from September when DGD goes to school. But not sure yet. I just think I need to get some bread and butter money going.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

No it's for ironing your own design on to fabric, my DD uses it to print out her favourite horse pictures on to and then transfer them to t-shirts.

Morning all. I might have a chance of doing a craft fair in the not too distant future. The town the fair will be at is a tourist attraction town so it gets busy of a weekend so hopefully will get a few people coming. Thing is I have not done a craft fair before. I want to take the bits I have on my shop like bags, cushions and quilts but not sure if I should make up some smaller things too, and do I sell at the same price as on my shop? The stall is £25 so I want to make enough to cover the price of the stall at least. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated a lot xx
