What machine did you buy and what did you already have? I pray my industrial machine keeps going - have no idea how old it is - it will sew most stuff.

Its a Toyota Jeans. or super jeans?, was advertised on the craft channel yesterday. Its was only £134.10 so not a major outlay in the grand scheme of things, but an awful lot to me, when I need to make money not spend it! eek.

Nice bargain on the blind HMO, just shows you how much you can save by doing it yourself xx

Florence the curtains are fab, well done xx

Mooloo, I don't blame you for treating yourself to the new machine, and good luck with the shop xx

I think I need some experts to help me with the shop. I am not a good photographer, and or anygood setting up a site. I shall have to learn!!

My main sewing machine and my second one (that is at BF's) are viscount machines. Both very old. When they took them to service them, the current staff didnt know my 6000 model. Laugh. Too old for them to know. But the other one is 2002/3 model.
I have no main issues with it, except the bulk of jean fabrics etc. I just hope that i havent blown my savings for something that is not brilliant enough. The presenter was a man sewing it. I didnt see Debbie this time.
Don't know Viscount machines but I bet they are sturdy. I watched the show later on in the day so saw the machine - nothing wrong with a man sewing - he seemed to know what he was doing. In my last machining job - there was a bloke - really fast and good machinist. When I started as a machinist - MANY years ago - no men doing the sewing only the laying out/cutting of fabric. The machine looks good - hope you are happy with it. I know I am spoilt having an industrial machine - seems to handle any job I throw at it.

Love this make - well done. Is it a wooden hanger - don't think I have seen fabric hanger covers with pockets before. Are the pockets for undies storage? By the way - love the fabric!

....got lots of Christmas cards still to make. Hubby used to buy printed Business Christmas cards until I started card making. So I have 60 of them to make plus approx 70 for personal cards - half each. Off to make cards now.

yes wooden hangers the plain simple arched ones. the pockets can be for anything.

there are four but i have smaller hangers too so am making another with three pockets now.

they could be hung in a wardrobe and used for bets, socks etc the pockets are about 4x4 inch or they could be used in a craft room for storing anything really.

    or a bathroom
