They look great, but how did you make them and what are they?

Thank you - just a decoration to hang on the wall. Made with tops off milk cartons (which I've been collecting for months) padded and covered.

Oh dear, another couple of fabric pieces found their way into my shopping basket. That'll have to be it now for a bit.

    Hi, Everyone,

Not been on here for a while, retired a few weeks ago, partner moving in, so been decorating my flat.
Just ordered myself a Janome embroidery machine MC350E. Wondered if anyone as got this machine or something similiar and what sort of things you are making with? Be a couple of weeks before I get it.

    sheila :j
  • Bad news guys, my accessories for my machine were stolen as the parcel was delivered to the wrong address and when they tried to get them back the woman wouldn't open the door. Police have been notified though.

Very annoyed and saddened as I was raring to go on all of the wonderful ideas on this thread :(

  • So i've started my first project now, but I just noticed that the machine (where the light bulb is) is getting warm as the bulb is hot, does anyone else get this problem? It seems you can't turn the light off!
  • What a fab idea cuddles, very effective, looks great.
Sorry to hear about your parcel Lolarosa, what a cheek!

Cuddles, they look great, fab idea!

Gosh Lolarosa, thats dreadful! Hope you manage to get it sorted.

Twistedcandyfloss, the light does get very hot on my machine too, but I have an on/off switch. (To actually switch the whole machine off I have to unplug it - the on/off switch just switches the light off)

Here's my machine cover, I did a faced opening for the carry handle which taxed my little pea-brain but I got there in the end:rotfl: Tutorial in my blog

Cuddles the more I look at the photos of your trees the more I love them xx

Avstar well done on the sewing machine cover, it looks lovely xx

Shalva the easiest thing to use us bias binding and fold it in half then sew all the penants in between the two edges. I havent heard of that make of sewing machine before xx
