Welcome to the new sewer's it's great to have you join in, the more the merrier

I have been busy sewing away and have had lots of Hello Kitty bags and purses to make for mum's at DS's school for their DD's xmas gifts

Sorry Ive not been back to thank you all for the nice comments on my bag, the days are flying by

Avstar I just love your top :T. The shower cap is brill, I love the fabric you used :T Im not good at clothes so I love seeing what has been made here

Im off for a break to my mum's this weekend but with half term next wk I hope to update my homepage with lots of pics

I brought the 241 pattern from NoodleHead http://www.noodle-head.com/2011/03/241-tote-pattern.html

She gives details of the amount of fabric to make it on the page.
I have used a FQ I got the front and 2 side pockets out of it and put a plain back on one bag I will update my homepage Monday and show the bag using the FQ.

thank you i am fine, ive been busy building Debbie Shores new sewing website but its nearly done for now at least so i managed to do a bit of dog sewing!

I have been asked to do some dining room chair covers and I know where I will be going to get help lol. She has some good DVD's

Im enjoying my relaxing wkend at mum's now but Ive still brought some hand sewing to do so I don't miss my fabric too much :rotfl:

I have finished the cushion for the customer, i am without a camera though so have had to photo it on my phone and send to her to see if she likes it. I have another order for a table runner too which I am half way through.

I bought YD a photo make up bag for Christmas off Artscow. Its come out lovely but on one side I put a photo of her and her BF and they have now split up so I want to see if I can sew something over the photo and pretty it up on that side so she wont notice whats underneath. The other side is fine, just has pics of her on it.

i bought my first piece of fabric yesterday. only an offcut (quite a large piece) for 60p and i am going to practice making my daughter's apron with it. it is blue with ice cream sundaes all over it, so i thought it fitted in well.

where can i find the 'no chat' thread.

i am feeling rather lost with all the infomration i need to gather to be able to be any good at this, but am very much enjoying all the reading/pictures/guidance.
