    off to google stampingup!
Tried sewing and finishing off two bags that had been started weeks ago! But I struggled. Arm is really bad, and so I had to stop.! Not good when I have so many orders to fill. Good job I didnt put my name down for the babyfair this weekend. I would never have managed!
Thanks for the well wishes! x

Hi everyone :D Welcome to the new sewers, it is lovely to have you on board :D

I have been keeping up to date with you all but have been trying to fit in lots of sewing too.
I have managed to make 5 mini tote bags for my 2 DGD's to hang on the peg hooks I made for thier new bedroom.
Also cut out 10 purses ready to sew once my zips arrive :D
My mum phoned me yesterday to say she is booking me another craft stall near her but this time it is in the town hall and it is a xmas craft fair so no dirty greenhouse or carbooters wanting a knock down bargain lol.

I still have the craft stall to make things for in November at work, I have decided to only take smaller items and leave my bags at home.

Im off to work again in a bit so had to tidy away again :( would much rather be sewing than working :(
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Still sewing my first Amelie bag: outer and inner bags done, including all pockets, onto the handles now :j

Shame I have to stop and do other things (eg food shopping, collecting DS2 from college and take him to the docs...etc!).

Now have to get tea started..still should get more sewing done this evening...possibly even get it finished tonight...will post piccies once I am done.

I have decided I "need" to get to Ikea to source some of the lovely fabric there...shame we are equally away from two...about 50 miles each way!!

    Have a good evening everyone.

Hart I'm glad to hear you're doing another fair, this one sounds much better!

Keiss I know what you mean about Ikea, I went with t'other half on saturday to buy my sewing desk but we rushed there half an hour before closing and didn't have time to look at anything else  I could see all the fabric laid out just waiting for me and had to run straight past bwaaaaah!
  • Ikea do fab offcuts as well! I always have to be physcially dragged past that bit... But I also am about 50 miles from an Ikea, equidistant from 2, like Keiss, so it is a real effort to get there. And I have to be child free, nothing worse than whiny children in Ikea!
