Love HP and have read all the books, still got to see Deathly Hallows part 2 film tho. I've heard its fab :j

Definately fab, my mother (not a big HP fan but she 'likes' it) cried five times towards the end! I just wish the parts with Snape were longer :o

I would love the fabrics that you had donated to you, very lucky. I'm trying to find a small tweed fabric for making old-fashioned doll trousers at the mo, so I am rather jealous. Maybe try making an oven-mitt to match your new apron, if you have enough fabric left over?

Thanks Handsewn, oven gove is a good idea and also some shower caps if I can find some cheap white shower curtains to cut up.

I'm *think* I'm going to make a fitted jacked with the suiting fabric from a Burda magazine patttern, with Chanel style edging strips. Its a bit advanced for me () but at least the fabric didn't cost me anything if I make a dogs dinner of it. How much fabric do you need Handsewn? I'll check the Burda pattern and measure up how much fabric I've got, you're welcome to have the left-over if there is any?

I am sure thats fine. We will probably still all be on here, as its second nature to us.
But if we want to sell/buy/swap we are not allowed to do that on MSE.
    No sewing this weekend,
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

I customise Blythe dolls (among others.) In this case I am taking apart one of them and rerooting the hair with mohair, changing the make-up, carving the features and a whole other bunch of stuff. The end result calls for some tweed for the outfit I have in mind.

I am planning on posting in my Flickr account this week and I'll let everyone know if anyone wants to see my work.

I'd love to create a doll entirely from scratch, like you do Florenceem. You are very inspiring.

Lovely, very unusual! is this Mexican Day of the Dead fabric? I bought some AH fabric once from 'The Ghastlies' range but it arrived with the main print cut off from the length I bought, and it was much smaller in size than the FQ I was purchasing. I keep meaning to replace it.
