    Hello Everyone,

Well what a good girl I've been this weekend! In my declutter quest I have so far:

This thread really keeps me motivated. I may even have designs on doing the loft if I'm not careful!

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Well done Missywissy and MAM! You've both done really well

  • hi can i join please :)

i really need to declutter my house i have 3 bedrooms, an airing cupboard, kitchen and lounge/diner to sort!!

im starting with my lounge diner tomorrow as soon as i have dropped my boys off to school.

so in my lounge i must

pull out both sofas and chuck whatever lurks beneath them!!
    sort through dvd cabinet
    sort through 3 drawers
    sort through small cupboard

hopefully with enough motivation the lounge should only take a few hours then i can move onto the airing cupboard!!

Hi All, Can i join you please. I am on a mad declutter misson and this time I am being brutal!!! We've recently redecorated one of our girls bedrooms and have moved both little ones into one room to make a shiny spare room (yei!!) I have already decluttered the toys and girls clothes and taken loads to charity. Have also decluttered the chest in the living room of all the old CDs (Right Said Fred has been BINNED)!

Now I'm starting on our bedroom which has basically been a dumping ground for everything and anything. i have already filled 2 binbags of old clothes (mine) for charity but need to motivate my husband into doing his fair share.

The house already looks so much better but I still have the rest of my bedroom, the kitchen and a 450sq ft garage (which is full of junk) to do!!

I need to keep up my motivation!!!

P.s. any ideas on how to tactfully kick a husband up the bum??

Well done, there's also a decluttering thread over on OS which can encourage you to continue.

My problem is the clutter on surfaces, let alone what lies beneath!

Re #3, most of mine is type 3 clutter. Emotional attachment and the may come in useful even though I haven't used it in two years.
