Never did anything toda. Was so tired I slept all day instead of getting up at 12. Then filled the afternoon with getting shopping etc. I've got the grout so I shall do it all tomorrow and Saturday. More decluttering done or being worked upon -
Updated my notes on available food stock so discarded info about what has been used up. Notes now more condensed.
Used up loads of those free bags from my freezer that you get from the butchers for stock making etc. Glad as going off the idea of this task and animal produce.
Been collecting land cress from the garden - again not keen on this food so dehydrated a large quantity to "change" its taste and therefore storage has takes up less space. Also, have started to discard some mats that previously covered the compost bins.
Using up jar lids still - this times for growing turnip tops greens.
Deleted unwanted internet browser bookmarks as have a very long list. Got rid of 18 so far.
Spare charity shop table cloth made into rags.0 -

Good Morning!
First of the month and I found you! I have lots of decluttering to do so I am going to join you if you don't mind. lots is changing in my life, including a new job this month, plus some forthcoming changes to the flat so I rely need to do this.
I am going to pledge to declutter at least 100 items this month. Ideally I'd like to declutter 100 from each room every week but not sure that will work and don't want to burn out too soon!
Happy decluttering!

Morning all!
Happy October from a wet & windy Gloucester
I'm going to aim for 150 items this month. We're away for part of it (half term break) do I don't want to push myself too much
Have used up several hotel sachets of shampoo this week - actually ran out of shampoo without realising it - think I'd taken the 'no buying toiletries' too far there
Anyway, have had a tidy of the heap on the microwave and the magazine rack so:
1. pile of unwanted paperwork/ letters/ envelopes - recycled
2. magazines and newspapers from the past few weeks (!!) - recycled
3. dried up box of face paints - binned
4-7. clothing put in charity bag - going tonight
Not going to do much else on the decluttering front today - aiming for cleaning/ tidying instead

Today I (finally) roused my troops who carried 3 big bags of former Greenmetropolis-listed books to the CS: easily 100 before the stack DH will take into work to donate in the staffroom. The attic book corner looks empty!
DS2 was home & so I cruelly made him go through his wardrobe with me: 38 item for the CS (some really historic eg his school trousers ) plus a bag of dead socks, pants & pjs etc for the CS ragman
One item sold on E-bay (posted) & 6 ending today or tomorrow.
And, I collected up the pile of bedding & took it to the laundrette for a service wash & dry - the rain we've had recently has turned my house into the set for Widow Twankey's laundryI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
