Welcome back to Sequeena and wilf55
Good news for me is that I start a new full time job on Monday, bad news is it took us practically the entire week to decorate the living room last week - the house is in a right state and I now don't have time to get it sorted back out quickly! Everything from the living room has been dumped in the spare room and I want to go through it all upstairs and not refill the living room with junk.
However the next three weekends are pretty booked up - this coming weekend I must buy some smarter work clothes/shoes as have been able to wear jeans and trainers for work for the last year, so there will be a lot of incoming items soon!
In
New tap top fitted to bathroom sink as old one broke in half
Draught excluder foam
Paint for living room door (still to do - hopefully OH will do this!)
Out
Two halves of a tap top
Holiday brochures
Three empty paint tins
Ebay parcel posted
Pending Out
Four tops, dress, skirt, book and two costume necklaces into charity bag
Moisturiser and hand cream to go to Mum
Top to be returned to sister0 -

Tonight I'm going to box up the rest of my wedding things and stick that in the attic (clearing some space in the spare room) and get DH to give me another two boxes down from there so I can sort them.
I plan to do another 20 items today!
Fingers crossed I'll get to 100 before the end of the week..Mortgage Free by 40 Challenge #190 -

A little bit late for a 2010 declutter, but I've started offline, promise! I've been a keen lingerer of MSE for a while but I couldn't resist a declutter thread!
I have a temporary job at the moment, which means that there's less opportunity for things to come in but also more opportunities for the things that do come in to linger for longer (since I have no time to sort through them!)
I have a few things on eBay at the moment but I won't list them until they're physically away!
IN
- 1 book (for reviewing)
PENDING
- 2 Maths revision guides that were on eBay but my friend spotted and then begged to have
- 2 mooches (from the website BookMooch)
OUT
- Zilch.
I think starting from October I'll aim for 15 items out a month. That's a figure I've pulled out of thin air so it'll most likely change to be more challenging / realistic in November!Thank you competition posters!

Wilf, feel free to join me! Decided that there was little point in having loads of half finished rooms that just annoy me so I'm going to get them done. This evening I was able to cross off another thng from the list as DH (finally) unblocked the plughole in the bath. I started it yesterday but it started leaking so he went mad. He pulled out tonnes of hair and decided to get rid of the shower trap off the bottom of the bath. Funnily enough, it caught all of the hair but he didn't leave enough space on it to empty it. Plumbing is not his strong point!
I will cross off the grouting- hopefully tomorrow. Then I can move onto something else on Thursday.
I figure that it is still decluttering because I am using up the half finished pots of paint and stuff. I also need to do tip runs to get to things to do them!

hi all
i am after some advice, im quite good at keeping a clean house (i think!!) but im not at all good at decluttering, every time i open my cleaning cupboard a bottle of febreeze lands on my foot or i open the cupboard in the lounge and a wii game falls out!! i really need to control this clutter as i have a habbit of putting stuff in cupboards (not neatly) and then never being able to find what im looking for! does anyone have a routine where they declutter a room every so often? i have 3 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge/diner that i need to get clutter free!! i suppose my airing cupboard could do with a sorting out too!!
thanks allone debt vs 100 days challenge: £0/£6000
