    OUT:
13 old videos to my Mum who will watch the ones she fancies, then donate them to the CS. Finally have room for DH's birthday Midsomer Murders DVDs on the shelves.

    Pending:
sorted through my tins in the kitchen & put aside a bag of items with good long dates for Harvest Festival. In an urban location we don't have the space to plough & scatter so a trip to Mr T's has to suffice. In my case I'm sharing my harvest of bogofs, special offers & bargains.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

    Hello Everyone,

Well what a good girl I've been this weekend! In my declutter quest I have so far:

Cleared my dressing table of 3 years worth of birthday/christmas cards
Sorted through every family members' memory boxes
Got rid of a load of unwanted books, freeing up space for large pile of wanted books that have been behind sofa for nearly 2 years
Cleared 3 clutter hotspots in the corners of my living room and condensed them into 1
Sorted through a large pile of sleeping bags/quilts/bedding and donated a load to CS.

Not all of the above done this weekend I hasten to add.

My next job is my boiler cupboard which has no shelves just a huge pile of clutter from the floor about 1m high! I am buying a shoe rack to put inside which will help to tidy everything up. Then I need to buy a small cupboard to house my towels/bedding, etc to free up a corner of my bedroom.

This thread really keeps me motivated. I may even have designs on doing the loft if I'm not careful!

Hope you all had a good weekend.

    HIa,

Been missing in action. Been decluttering and didn't make it to 100 by the end of Friday. So yesterday I did a turbo super declutter and got rid of 84 things. Mainly papers, recycling and generall toot in the lounge. Now looks so so much better.

Will try and do this another day as it helped shift a load of stuff quickly.

Best of luck everyone, and every little bit of decluttering helps.
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!"
Less things. Less stuff. More life.

Had a really busy weekend as well! We've cleared out the shed, lots sent to the tip, CS, free cycle or given away. DH also went through his shoes and sent 6 pairs to the CS. (He literally only wears three pairs regularly. Work shoes, gym shoes or walking boots so the porch looks much cleaner!)

I'm also sending a big canvas to the CS a set of old hair straighteners and a wedding dress I bought on ebay but didn't like and can't resell. The local CS near me will be happy!

The other thing we did was pack up all our wedding things into a box and that's going into the attic tonight.

We're getting there. Slowly but surely :)
