There was supposed to be a Nintendo 3Ds in the box but all I got was a tin of sweetcorn and some toilet roll. Not the 3Ds I was expecting

What kind of Seal was it?

Did it have a sedurity tag on the box seal or just soem nice looking tape?

I would think more like a previous customer bought one, took it home, replaced the contents and took it back for a refund. Only for them to stick it straight back on the shelf

I can't believe they would give a refund for a high value unsealed item returned without checking the contents first.

    Hi
I am resurrecting this as I have just had exactly the same happen to me in Asda where I received a sealed box which on opening at home contained nothing more than a tin of sweetcorn wrapped in toilet roll.
I didn't open it until I returned home and returned it straight back to Asda where all of the customer service staff where very helpful and sorry BUT the DUTY manager basically told me that I had done it. So I would not be receiving either a refund or a replacement. I am now waiting until the Manager returns on Monday to See what if anything Asda are going to do about it.
Now I am over 50 and a member of my local church, what upset me more than not receiving a refund etc was being called a liar in front of at least 20 people who had gathered around the desk by this time.
