Busy busy here. Had to wake Benjamin at 7am this morning and he still looked shattered, he nearly fell back asleep in the car on the way to the CM - now I feel like a bad mummy for keeping him up late on Saturday night :o

hmm... i think it was buttons, but does anyone have any good recipes for a curry in a slow cooker before i google????

Not sure if its any good - but we're having it tonight.

Soften two onions in a frying pan with two cloves garlic (crushed), 2tsp grated ginger, 1lb minced beef - cook til meat is no longer pink.

Stir in two tbsp curry powder and cook for two minutes.

Stir in 7fl oz water and 2 tspn tomato puree. Season, bring to the boil and transfer to SC.

Cook on high for 2-3 hours.

Optional - stir in 4tbsp double cream.

not booby milk but I've heard wee is good :rotfl:

I believe so. I have a scholl foot cream containing Urea which I believe comes from wee.

And my Dad says that in the olden days when he was a trainee plumber in the cold North East, the boss told them to pee on their hands to make them better and heal the cracked skin!

3 - how are you finding being at home? Are you loving it?

Glad you had a good birthday! I'm enjoying being at home - I feel a lot happier about life! :D And i've had a good weekend without having to rush about doing all the stuff I had to do when I was at work in the week.

MOTM Don't leave us - you give good advice especially to those of us with girls coming up to the teenage years.

Happy Birthday MM. Hope you enjoy the massage and your day.

    (Still catching up).

    Morning all :)

Was woken up (twenty minutes ago ) by the comms nurse saying Rhys doesn't need a blood test today.. hurrah! :D Just consultant app at 2.50pm so no rush (just a car parking battle at visiting time ).

Really need to tidy up. For some reason, I was surprised at the mess in the living room this morning, even though it's exactly as I left it last night and I wasn't bothered then! :o

MM I'd leave him to it, but then I am a notorious meanie.

Also, if I don't have experience of something I tend not to talk about it. Having said that, when my brother was born my mother took care of all his appointments and stuff and my father kind of hovered helplessly. I think that was a case of her taking charge rather than him not wanting it though IYSWIM - she babies him to within an inch of his life and he'll be 21 next month.

Anyway, I'm pro good mummies and good daddies who do what they think is best for their kids however they choose to do it, and if that means they do stuff I wouldn't do then so be it.

I've just been sent a requisition form to get a white lab coat if I want one ... I'm sorely tempted, although I don't need one at all. Hmmmmm.....

Did I say Happy birthday MM? And EA, in case she lurks?
