And MOTM, please don't leave. I have had hideous experience of men, except my dad (and bruv) who is wonderful. But reading your posts reminds me that my experience is down to my lack of good judgement of character rather than 'all men are barstools', which I will admit comes out of my mouth every so often but it is men like you who remind me that I'm wrong. And that one day, when and if I choose to look, I might meet someone like you and be happy to share mine and Kezias life with them. Any of the ones I've dated so far wouldn't even be fit to be in her company, but again that's because of my lack of good taste and not that all men are the same.

Also, thank you to whoever (poss Krystal or SS, but it was a long time ago so I'm not too sure) who recommended the Learn and Groove Activity centre. It arrived this morning and it looks great. Just hope that when I come to put it together there is nothing wrong with it.

Me too. I believe a bit of germ exposure does you good.

My best RL friend and I had our first DS's within 10 weeks of each other, almost 13 years ago. :eek: She was dreadful, forever changing his clothes when he got dirty, wiping his hands and face, disinfecting the house/toys constantly!

When they started school, her LO was forever poorly with every bug, cough and cold going!

She's better now! We've both had our last DD's within 10 weeks of each other and she laughs at what she was like with her first. Her DD is free to roam the floor with V, eat fluff and get dirty.

Its a new one, but i've done a similar one from a WW cookbook, Keema Curry, which was actually quite nice. (Although when you have Keema in an Indian its minced lamb isn't it? )

the recipes I've seen for keema use mince beef, but that could just be my unauthentic cookbooks

I was going to write my own comment but Millie's Mum has said it so much better than I would have. (Although I do have some experience of disabilities through my brother and through past work but that is completely different to being the parent of a child with a disability.)

I have to confess that often I don't like the criticism/generalisations made about men but I know that a lot of people don't have husbands who contribute to child rearing as much as mine does so I just refrain from commenting and remind myself that other people are all in different situations.

I think for me, it's about fitting in. It's nothing anyone has said or done, just for once, all about me.

This week i've had an issue with a school teacher who made one of my girls cry and not able to go back to school and another girl is seriously ill, but felt I couldn't post as it didn't fit in anywhere. They are not at the age of 'poor girl' you know and it wouldn't make a difference anyway. It would change nothing.

I've had some good advice on here, all of which has been appreciated, from Tax Credit advice, kids and phone bills advice to partners job worries.

I'm the sort of person who doesn't really want to come on and tell people things if they show no interest. Jillie kindly responded to what I said about a disciplinary which then happened on Friday, big day for partner, no-one asked how it went, didn't expect anyone too, but with the week just gone, I didn't want to come to this thread and start a conversation about things that mattered to me, especially when people only pick up negatives.

So maybe it was a bad week in some ways and i'm tired from staying up to all different hours with daughter. Not that it's an excuse and I back down from opinions. Maybe it's the latin in me :rolleyes:

MOTM I didn't know the disciplinary was on Friday - I was wondering when it would be. And please don't feel you can't talk about things because your girls are older - what happened to them and how are they now?

Edit: this is just a whinge because I want to have one - it is BALTIC in my office. I don't see anyone else dressed like an Eskimo for work so !!!!!!?!
