Thanks! I haven't commited to a name yet but my DS keeps calling her Amber so i think it's going to be quite tricky to change it now lol. I can't bring myself to say it's official though :rotfl:

Ah, thats a lovely name! :D

For some reason I keep thinking Leoni and Noah are gorgeous names - they must be my babies in a parallel universe as I'm not having any more! :rotfl:

SB - jamie's birthday will be really exciting, although I'm sure poppy will be more excited about it than Jamie!

I think she will too! :D. She can sing 'Happy Birthday' all the way through and knows what a birthday cake is! ;). I'm not sure Jamie will actually get to open any of his gifts :rotfl:.

sami - hope your sister gets home okay. A friend has told me that the A1 is shut - we are going west though and the roads are clear-ish (lots of jack knifed lorries etc), but at the house is horrible. I just watched neighbours have to dig their car out and then it just slipped all overthe snow as underneath it is ice - eeek.

We'll be okay. There is a whole chicken in the freezer if I need an emergency christmas dinner ;)

Its much worse further north. My grandparents have been stuck inside as there is 18 inches of snow outsied and has been for three days now!

r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this response :p
  • Omg my Nan just phoned and she nearly slipped over feeding the birds. She has osteoparosis so slips are v. bad. She's off to the shops later despite my advice to stay home.

Having a lovely morning snuggling with Henry.

Beenie- lanisinoh is a great suggestion from Fitz. I used it after every feed in the first two weeks and it really helped.

SB- my cousin Jamie's birthday is the 28th too. He'll be 25 though so much less exciting than being1!
