Morning!
I have a poorly babyhe threw up on me after his 7:30 ish feed so I though it was just trapped wind, after I was showered and he was bathed he did a bit more and I could just tell from the way he was sick it was illness sick if that makes sense. He's now asleep on me after his hicups have gone, poor lil thing.
so I still can't get any wrapping done!
Beenie, my only thought is are you making sure you're eating and drinking plenty? is she happy and lively? if so then it sounds to me that you just need to grit your teeth until your milk comes, might be worth asking MW about thrush though just in case coz I think that causes boobie pain. xx
no sign of csh for a week I think,
GISI can I have a bit of millionaire shortie please

Change of plan - I spent too long on here and Holly woke up. We are now watching Baby TV. I am nearly always showered before 10 but since not going out and Dell engineer has cancelled, I guess it will be ok to stay in PJs a bit longer!
Hope Ed feels better soon Sami. It's not nice having a sick baby. Did you feed him some of your dodgy sausages??!0 -

Hi Beenie - Amber is a lovely pretty name.
You need to change your sig - what day was she born? You should be getting milk any time now I would think, hopefully that will satisfy her and get her off the boob so much.
From memory I think V was attached to me for the first few days. And yes, did anyone warn you the afterpains get stronger with subsequent children. I don't remember them at all with No.1, but thought I was in labour again with No.3.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »He flits from one to the other in the blink of an eye! Mostly when things don't go his way. We are lucky that he is mostly a good boy at the moment but he has streaks of horrorness - much more so for his mum
He has little hairs on his chin...I wonder if his hormones are kicking in
By the time I was 9 I was wearing a bra and had started my periods. Although I was quite a sedate teenager.
Much the same here - she's an absolutely lovely, polite, funny girl most of the time. But can change to 'horrible brat' in a second! I'm also thinking hormones but she's too little!
I worry that she'll be as horrible as I was - but I didn't turn til I was a teenager.:beer:0 -
Some good reductions on JoJo Maman Bebe and a 20% off and free delivery code http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2162653 . Code only gave me free delivery not 20% off but still bargainous.
Nursing vests in blue or grey for £5 each- no idea how good they are but I loved the maternity wear so have high hopes. I've ordered two plus some bits for Henry as I've hardly got him anything for Christmas.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Beenie - just want to apologise for posting congrats on your Facebook page - I see you have deleted the messages! I did consider that you might not be ready for certain people to know, but as someone else had already said congrats, I assumed it was public knowledge. Hope I haven't caused you any problems. Anyway, congrats again, and Amber is a nice name if you go with it.
Can't help with the BFing I'm afraid. Would Lansolin help? xx0 -
Morning everyone nice new thread:)
Bratty kids, all I feel like I've done for the last 3 days is either shout at my kids, send them to their room, make them sit on the floor(this is punishment for jumping all over the sofas, which they seem intent on doing lately) or just constantly on at them to stop this, that or the other!!! I am seriously fed up with them at the moment:( And 3, mine are both boys so must be an all round thing at the moment...
On other news, we spent an hour n half in asda last night and came out £170 poorer!!!!!! Got everything we needed though including some cables/batteries etc ready for the big day:)
Kai woke at 6am but I went in gave him his dummy and tucked him in and he slept till 7.50... I went down and sat him in his bouncy chair with his bottle, was nearly sick!! So went back to bed and kicked dh out to go down and keep an eye on the kids. I slept till nearly 10am:)
SB - Fairy post arrived today, thank you so, so much. They are very much appreciated:):)
mel xUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
