MFD can DSS not come to you on weekdays then?

It's difficult really. He lives 20 mins away, his school is just next to his house (maybe 15 mins away) and our working lives struggle to accomodate school hours ATM. That is not to say we don't have him on school days, just not on a regular basis.

ooh a new thread - must type quietly or will be told off.

    hope everyone is ok.

Am excited about xmas I think as cannot sleep...been busy catching up with present buying and chasing round after an increasingly naughty 2 yr old. He is currently being a pain to get to bed EVERY night. Tonight was no exception and he was still awake around 9 - I went past his room and caught him trying to read my copy of martin's money saving expert (money diet) book pmsl :p.

He has done 4 wees in the potty - but still putting off the training as not a great time now .

I gather Maz has had her baby (crept in for a few mins a week or so ago) so just wanted to say a big CONGRATULATIONS and I hope Henry is not as naughty as Archie and making your job with a small one a bit easier. :D

    Shiney new thread! Thanks, Glad.

Good Morning! My son has been awake since 4:50am!. I told him it wasn't Christmas day yet but he still didn't go back to sleep .

    Glad Ben is better, tara.

Poor Seth, em! Hope the tablets work when he takes them. We're just getting over our poorly sickliness but they both line up at the kitchen babygate waiting for their syringe of Calpol :rotfl:.

Wrapping presents. Of course Father Christmas doesn't wrap his presents!;). How on earth would he have time to do so for every child in the world?!. When we were young we all had a designated part of the living room where he left all our gifts in huge sacks. Obviously my poor Mum didn't have the time or inclination :rotfl:. My Auntie ruined Christmas one year as she used the same paper for relatives presents and my cousin put two and two together! :D:p.

MFD, dying to know what your gift is! DH and I always tell each other before the day as we can't help it!. Do your family not ask what you want for xmas? I would have that mascara on standing order :rotfl:. We all ask each other what we would like, usually around £25, and then buy little 'go-withs'. My sister always asks for Molton Brown as she can't physically bring herself to pay their prices!

Right, off for another cup of coffee. Me thinks this is going to be a long day .

    xx
