why wouldn't toby's seat fit it?
You've had lessons before haven't you? did you find the clutch particulary hard? I love driving an auto but I like that I'm not limited to just them IYSWIM :)

I've got the Maxi-Cosi PrioriFix and it is enormous! I don't know if I could even get it through the door, and it is far to heavy to swap between cars.

I had a few lessons, but I just didn't 'get' the clutch and gear changing. It is more of a confidence thing, and I didn't like it. I like the rest of driving. If I took a test in an automatic, I'd be able to drive much sooner, which would be a good thing.

The Care-coordinator lady phoned me back and asked lots of questions and didn't give any answers. Hmm.

Yeah! :) I do really like my car.. I just wasn't thinking of practicalities of 5drs when I boughtit five years ago ;)

    I bought my 3dr 206 4months before I got pg!
It is so impractical but I can't really afford a bigger car yet!

tbh and FWIW Elle I dont think a 3dr is that much hassle, for me it was more the factor of wanting another baby that pushed us into getting a 5dr even that said my friend has a 3dr beetle and does fine with her 2 girls

Hmm.. I dunno. Depends if I can get a good deal with this one.. never know, might have been sold and the website's out of date  Leave it to fate ;)

What ya saying? That you know I don't clean my car regularly?! ;):p :rotfl: (which I don't.. can't remember the last time it went through the car wash - was going to do it on the way to the garage! ;)).

Will phone them when I get back in later. Suppose they need to see it in daylight anyway so I haven't got time to go this afternoon now :o

Don't suppose you can make Boogie Babies at half one? I hadn't asked before cos I assumed DH would be at work with the car.. :(

I was thinking a dark colour like that will be a b00ger for keeping clean! My mum and dad had a ford the same colour - looks lovely when clean, two seconds and a bit of dust later and it looks filthy.

They can give you a guide price over the phone just say you need to know roughly so you can work out if you can afford the one on the forecourt.

I've got a meeting to go to at our childrens centre at 1pm (really need to get organised...) but yep DH has the car. I am looking into a cheap run about though as a second car but DH suggested that he would take the runaround to work and I'd get to keep the big car

We watched tourists screw the locals for every penny on every purchase and then brag that they had bought Paul Frank T-shirts for less than 30p each.

I agree - when I was in Kenya there was this culture of bargaining alllll the way down. I tended to go down to what I felt I was prepared to pay, not what they'd go down to. It perhaps wasn't the most :money: way to be - but I felt I could live with myself afterwards.

We are off to meet friends for a Pizza Hut buffet lunch today. Normally go to Baby Sensory on a Thursday but it's not back until next week.

Jealous! The German one has three pizzas on a stand and you're not allowed to hit the salad bar. One day I will go get me a good Pizza Hut buffet, and then I will not eat for a week afterwards :rotfl:

Happy birthday Izzy - and big hugs all round. I've nothing useful to add so will go back to foraging for more stuff to eat.

Edit: Feelie, I'm sorry you had a bad night, and I want to poke your ignorant HV in the eye. But if you want an automatic, why does your OH's opinion come into it?

MFD, I'm going to heroically eat your toasted sandwich so you don't have to. Om nom nom.

No I didn't but I see you said a lot of people go for the M&P ARia which is teh 2nd hand one that we have so I guess I should be more MSE and just clean it instead of buying new!

I doubt I'll use it much as I tend to use the sling anyway.
lol, yeah just clean it you lazy wotsit :p:rotfl:
I'd never buy a 2nd hander that needed cleaning purely coz I know I'd never get round to cleaning it :o me, lazy? nah

it'll fit :D the tobi is pretty much same size, we had no probs getting it in my micra (you so should have a tobi :p)
I supose it depends if you just want to get any licence quickly aqnd be limited to cars or spend more time n money getting the manual license and have the car choice. I found driving pretty hard (took about 18mths learning :o) but now its just 2nd nature.

you don't have much luck with the health prof do you  at them!!
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
