Tia - a toasted scone? Is that like a scone that you have with jam and cream? Or like a teacake?

Sounds like you had a fun day x

Edit - Benjamin loves hair too Fitzio! I think it is because he hasn't got any ;)

    Afternoon everyone.

I haven't really got a chance to catch up properly, I just nipped back to my gift post and read replies...Thank you for ideas for brother's and sister:D I think I will get younger bro an alcoholic drink that he likes...can't remember the name of it now but they do shots with it...I'll remember it when I go to buy it and see the bottle. Sister, I am still quite stumped with!! and older bro likes dvd's so I will get him one I know he likes (dvd will be cheap to post too:))

I feel slightly more human today. I went in and tucked the boys in at half past eight last night thinking to myself I might have a little rest because I had a headache!! I barely even remember getting into bed, I must have just passed out the minute my head hit the pillow, I was absolutely exhausted! Kai woke up AT 12.30(ish) so I took him down and gave him some paracetamol, he then slept till 6ish (dummied him) then he woke at the proper time of 7am:D:D

He is still a misery all day though...how long does tonsillitis last?????

Best get dinner on, ds2 has beavers tonight so we need dinner a little earlier

    Mel x
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Yup - Benjamin grabs mine to pull me closer to kiss him  how can you be angry with that!! And he just grabs my fringe if I have my hair up so no help at all!

I am actually having a really productive day despite all the gossip on here! I am taking the same '1 productive thing a day' approach to my work as well as at home so I am running with a list of 'must dos' (firefighting as normal) and a list of '1 thing a day' stuff such as filing or researching. It seems to be working so far!!!

LO will be really evil with me, try and claw my face, pull my nose, try and scratch the freckles off my chest, only then to lunge at me open mouth for a sloppy kiss :D

LO makes out she wants to go to someone for a hug, only for us to realise it's because that person is closest to or has a remote or mobile phone. what is it about them?? ... ah yes, they shouldn't have them.

they keep saying here at work (well one guy) about heavy snow for us tomorrow. hope not. had enough of it. bad enough trying to get to work now without slipping over and in going out at lunch discovered my boots have cracks on the soles so my feet got wet

DS1's best friend who had a fit in our kitchen had another today. As well as being worried for him and his family it's also the end of his dream to join the Airforce. He left Ireland and his Mum last year to live here with his Dad as it's all he's ever wanted, such a shame. All the kids out there with no ambition and he had so much, life's can be carp sometimes!!!
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
