Yeah Specsavers are poo (sorry em :p)

I went there before Xmas to get new lens, and it turns out they had given me a dodgy batch, hence why I couldn't see out of one lens and I was worrying my eyes had got worse, anyways, I was taking Keira to the movies afterwards and she was excited (as 3yo are!) and she has a bad habit of interrupting you because she has thought of something amazing to tell you, anyways the optician guy was like

    "Be quiet little girl"
    "Shoosh!"
    "Excuse me! Im talking!"
    "Rolling eyeballs into brain mode"

Honestly, she was barely saying anything and he wasn't saying anything interesting, more like muttering to himself. Id of loved to poke him in the eye!

    Rude b*****

I just read that as new legs!!! Oh dear. :o:rotfl:

I wouldn't go there again, the pratt! Use a different one next time.

This isn't working, I sit on the floor with Maddy in the daytime if I'm on here. But each time I put here away from the laptop she's back in a few seconds! Too little to be that fast.

Sami - I think the OS ladies recommend the Morphy Richards slow cooker and Asda have it on sale at the moment.

Off to make steak pie and pea & ham soup. Hope Holly can play on her own for a short while without getting bored! I don't seem to get anything done. Have been lurking here a bit whilst playing with her.
  • Chris said he is going to phone the doctor for me !!

He just walked into the kitchen where I am doing the ironing dancing to Jon Bon Jovi and apparently that means I am sick and need taken away to be well looked after !! Bluming cheek of him :p

Id love some new legs, ones with slimmer calves please!

Yeah but I can't remember the guys name, do you think If I phoned up for an app and said "Can I not have the skinny ugly bespectacled guy with the bad attitude please" they'd know who I meant?

But Tara, the laptop has all those shiny buttons just waiting to be drooled on and hammered, what a mean mummy :p

LOL - after I was telling you the other day that Benjamin won't eat meat he sat there yesterday and gobbled down some pork (cooked in the slow cooker overnight) going nomnomnomnom  I couldn't believe it and rushed into the kitchen to grab him some more!!

I now cook all my meat in the slow cooker - beef, pork, chicken - it is all yummy!!

Agreed!!! Lo's don't eat meat well as the chewing is too much effort. By cooking it this way it just falls apart for them, and is yummier anyway. X

oh i might try this then. do you cook the meat with anything else?? or do you just do the meat and then the veg seperate?

must get back over to the OS board and look at some recipes for ideas.

LO will most likely only go for something she can put in her hand and feed herself

    I meant a different branch, we've used 2. They're franchised anyway.

It's middle distance for the people driving the most, ie: hour and half. Am up for any suggestions though but thought Tower Park would be ideal as we can all park and perhaps have lunch there!

Ah right, just wondered if there was anything (or anyone!) special in Poole. I think it best to not adjust any plans round me, but let me know where/when and I'll see if I can make it. I'm not able to get to Tower Park, but if it happens to change, or there are any meets elsewhere, please let me know :)
