Thanks all who missed me :rotfl:. I've turned into a lurker . This parenting lark obviously gets easier
as they get older, so you don't need support. I'll be back in May...
So, the quivering lip.
money maker - it is now and again, when he's quiet, sad, thoughtful, and no he's not growing out of it grr
elle-gee - you know how to make a girl feel old :rotfl:, Joseph is great (apart from eating problems - abysmal diet - dummy dependency - our fault entirely - and apparently talking late - one session with the therapist sorted that out, oh and everything is NO these days). The bump is growing and kicking, no complaints so far (apart from being treated like I'm at deaths door by the hospital, just because I like chocolate too much
)
Sami - it so WAS yesterday, it's time that's flowing too fast
feelinggood - that's good news. Was Joseph early? Not at 42 weeks not really :rotfl:
MFD - do you want it, do you need it, can you get it cheaper somewhere else? :rotfl: Thank you, it's a great photo, as you can't tell how old he is in it - but he was 8 months and barely holding up!
Hi SB, I keep up with you on fb ish. In secret of course!
I did have an appointment with the HV last week - apparetly they visit when you're up the, pregnant again. Oh and she wanted to talk about my 'depression' issues - so what did she do? Didn't turn up and didn't even call. paranoid? Me?
Back to lurking again - Love to all the lil' ones

Mookie - Isn't 15lbs a good weight? I really have no clue myself lol, I never bothered getting Keira weighed as a baby but she was a bit of a chunker.
She is 4 in April and weighs 31 and a half lbs. So not much really, but apparently that's above average weight for a kid of her age (according to google) but then they say the height for a 3yo girl is 2ft 7!!
Either way, she has nice chubby cheeks (both sets) and doesn't have a big gut so fine with me0 -

They usually have half price toiletries as well that goes on a month or so after the 3rd off deals so unless I'm running out I wait til then and then stock up!
The nappies only ever go 3rd off not included when they do half price deal:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Hi Agutka
Is it possible that he's upset and the quivering is an emotional response rather than being totally muscular? Have you tried asking him how he feels or what he's thinking about when it happens?
Just a thought - I could be way off but it occurred to me that if it's happening when he looks sad he might just be sad.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

just got off the phone with the HV about rearranging to see her re LO's sleeping (and also food). i tried to get her to meet me in town so i could fully take in what she was saying without having to watch LO and stop her climbing everything.
anyway, she wants to come to the house so that she can 'observe' LO as it may be relevant to how to put the sleep plan into action.
now dont get me wrong, i need help with this as LO walks all over me when it comes to sleep, but i am just worried i am going to feel even more of a failure as a mum after wednesday than i do already.
You are a fabby mum. All of us need guidance at one time or another. I know you'll think that she's "inspecting" you on Wednesday, but if she sees a normal day in your and LO's (sorry, I don't know your little girl's name) week, then she'll be able to suggest things that will help the most.William now weighs 10lb 5ozs  yah for EBM.... just expressed 8ozs out ready for later
Wow, super milk!!!!!
SS - hope the hip is getting better0 -
Which reminds me - Sainsburys are doing some great vouchers at the till these days. The other day I got a £2.50 off any pampers economy pack voucher - now that is deffo gonna make the 1/3 off nappies the cheapest around
Just need to find the time/inclination to go and buy some now!
Feeling v sleepy, not sure if it is the fan heater blowing on my feet or the fact that I haven't slept for longer than 5 1/2 hours in one go for weeks but I could just put my head down and have a napplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
hi all,
just been out this lunch to brave the slippery paths. made it back without falling thank goodness.
not sure who mentioned it, but i too need to look at getting the slow cooker out, although as LO seems to prefer BLW so i'm not sure what i can do in the slow cooker that she will have. she's not a meat eater so will need to think about that.
had a chat with a work colleague about LO and she said the same as everyone on here, but i still feel pants. just want this sorted. would happily pay someone to do it0 -
Agutka - Keira has a bad diet and had dummy dependency, my fault also. The dummy, I took off her at 3 as she had went from bed time use to all day use and she had an open bite, her mouth has corrected itself but one of her front teeth slightly overlaps the next one now, but that's fine.
What is his fussy eating like? At one point all Keira would eat was chicken nuggets and toast  She will now eat
Peas
Most fruit
Yoghurts
Toast
Cereal
Eggs
Fish
Rice
So really it's carb central, not much meat either but she's happy, got plenty of energy, just got to try and not fret really, as I know me sitting pleading with her to eat a carrot has given the wee moo a sense of control!0 -

It's middle distance for the people driving the most, ie: hour and half. Am up for any suggestions though but thought Tower Park would be ideal as we can all park and perhaps have lunch there!Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

Just consulted the red book. If the scales were correct then she would be on 9th centile for weight (was on 25th) but between 91st and 98th for height. Either way she's a long stringy little thing (who's now eating the tape measure - you see I dont feed her really!).Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0
