I have a clothes horse and use it to dry things that can't be washed - Dresses etc. Anyways I put it in my bedroom but I noticed my bedroom has a minging smell now and It's mould growing on the window! It's the only room with it, and I'm guessing its because of the clothes adding moisture to the air? The heater is directly beneath the window, and then my bed is in front of it.
It's double glazing too, is there anything I can do? Keep the window open when they are drying?
we had the same prob in the flat we ended up borrowing a dehumidifier. If we had been staying there we would have bought one, it's a nightmare. opening windows does help pref more than just the room it's in so it gets a thru draft!!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
Last time I paid my electric bill in the Post Office she looked at it and said 'scary biscuits, are you paying it all?' Not even telling you all what it was! This house (not me) are wasteful with electric! You would think it just came out of the wall or something!!!
Off to bed, catch you all tomorrow no doubt x0 -

BM - Yes I use and airer, I think keeping the window open would help. I keep my airer in the hall near to the front door so there is plenty of air movement. I am contemplating getting a second bigger airer as the one I currently have doesn't even hold a full load.
