Morning all,
Resolutions/plans for 2010:
Be a brilliant mum to Holly and always put her first.
Lose pregnancy jelly belly and about 3 stones in weight.
Cut back on grocery and other spending to allow me to afford to work part time hours.
Probably try for another baby towards the end of the year.0 -
Hi SS good journey home...I received a lovely calendar today, was that from the fairies:)
Well I give up, I was just trying to sort out finances, but I can't do it...things are so up in the air at the moment and I have no idea when exactly it is all going to settle, so I think I am going to continue with my 'head in sand' philosophy for a little while longer and once things have 'changed' and settled then I will sort it all out:o
I suppose I really should get dressed but we are planning a lazy weekend as we have rushed about all over christmas and new year and the kids are back to school monday, so the rushing around starts again.....Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
'Morning' all! I'm not well, wah wah! Have a horrendously sore throat and ear and head is all fuzzy. Feeling most sorry for myself
Have just dispatched OH on a 40 mile round trip to get my new Dyson. I ordered it online from Currys, who took the money then bl00dy emailed me 2 days later to tell me they had none :mad: Raging! Done a reserve and collect on their website but only shop wi them left is the other side of Edinburgh, so bye bye OH, away you go LOL
Elle- I've had post viral rash that didn't itch at all and lasted about 10 days, most attractive not!
Roasts- We have at least 1 usually 2 a week! I love a Roast dinner
SM- Last period (2nd after Kieren) was very heavy, worse than the bleeding after the birth so it prob isn't anything to overly worry about x
Laser surgery- Would love it if it was pain free!! Have a thing about my eyes. Cannot handle any kind of eye pain it makes me phsically sick. Would rather give birth than have sore eyes! Have 'dry eye' at the moment due to hormones after pregnancy and contact lenses feel like glass in my eye. OOOOWWWWW!!!
Plans for 2010.
Back to work in May BOOOOOO!!!!!!
Clear about 10k of debt! (mostly from house renovations plus car loan)
Go on holiday!!!
Possible aim for baby #3 to be due in summer 20110 -

Forgot to also add shellfish as one to avoid at this age too, other than that, pretty much everything goes0 -
I think i should change my name to milky- messy- girl God it gets every where lol. I am always dripping wet! I nearly always have to wear those shells that collect the milk, When i am feeding him the let down is of course worse but even when i'm not and he is fast asleep it is poring from me so i try to express and nothing comes out. I get more milk naturally in the shells than i do from expressing but i can hardly wear them when i am out as you can tell i have them in my bra and i don't like to wear a bra at nite but then i am covered in milk by the morning. I find it very wasteful.
The hospital gave me an electric pump and that did get the milk but i have had to return it now. I have the tommy tippee breat pump and it's rubbish.
We are all on our own for the first time. Hubby has took ds out for his hair cut and then food shopping. better go harry is wanting feeding again, he will soon be back up to his birth rate the way he is goingThis is my signature!0 -

Elasti- I agree that the leaking milk is wasteful, particularly at night. Do you wear breast pads? They are not visible user a bra and prevent embarassing wet patches. I hate wearing a bra at night, so Elle suggested wearing a nursing vest instead. This holds the breast pads in place but is way more comfy than a bra.
You can get some shell things that stay in place without a bra, but I can't remember what they're called. I know someone on here bought some so I'm sure someone will let you know.
It sounds like Harry is feeding well, which is fab. What does DS think of the new addition?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Our ds loves harry so much, he always wants to hold him, kiss him, tells him he loves him. It's us he hasn't been the best for. He has been naughty and rude but it will just take a bit of time i guess. He has for the first time said he doesn't like us. This rolled off my back as it is just something that he has picked up at school and i know he doesn't mean it but hubby was very upset over it. He won't sleep at all and we have only the weekend to get him back in a routine or school. I think he finally fell asleep at 12 last night. We have tried everthing but he will just cry and shout he hates his room and bed and that no one is up stairs.
I am def wearing breast pads, i erm need bigger ones tho lol. I bought boots own and find they are a bit small for my huge babs :rotfl:I have not heard of the shells that don't need a bra to hold them up i will hve a search thanks. This is my signature!0 -
Hi all...
Honestly thought there were going to be bits of me missing this morning cos I was itching so much in the night, but I've woken up with a few scratches, no rash and no itching... hurrah!
OH left me in bed til 1pm, then phoned to wake me up as my mum was calling in for something. He's gone out to his mum's.. very strange behaviour, he left a note but I don't understand what he meant. Ah well, peace and quiet until he's back. I wanted to go to Tesco but he's gone out in my car (probably to check it still works since I haven't used it in a week!) so I'm housebound
Heard from MFD earlier.. she's still poorly sick
SS, for when you're back on, hope you had a safe journey!xx
