TBH I am not sure which are the 'good' makes when it comes to laptops. I had an Advent one and it knackered up after a year...the wireless thing started playing up and then the screen went funny, before becoming completely unreadable!! So I won't go for that make again. Ideally I would love an apple macbook, but cannot justify the cost atm, especially as I aminly only want it for browsing web and so we bcan get rid of computer from (what was) the dining room, because we are turning it into a sort of 2nd living room/play room.

    I'm here in spirit :D

I'm just multi-tasking! I'm reading this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2175209&page=10, thinking I might get some tips (might do a budget tonight for the year and see what it comes out like), updating a website for DH's uncle and trying to work out how to download games to DH's W995. If anyone can help with the third thing, I'd be very grateful :D

We're having this for tea with mash and veg but chippy chips sound good!!! I've been good this afternoon and have done the menu plan for the whole of January. I need to go shopping tomorrow so will only buy what I need for the next week or so (well, that's the plan!). I might go to Morrisons instead of Tesco as they don't sell baby clothes that fall into my trolley as I'm walking past them
