Keira just came home today from my mums, and now Ellie is coming here because my Dad has taken a "funny turn" and has to go to hospital. That's what he called it last time he had a heart attack!! He's not even 40 yet and that will be 2 now I bet!

Yet of course, my mum is still going out tonight to get drunk, ok I know they haven't been getting on but he could of just had another heart attack !!!!!!! She's a coo'

Does anyone know anything about laptops....is this one a good deal? I might try and get it on Monday if there is nothing better about.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

That sounds like a lovely idea. The problem I have is I don't feel I can do any of these lovely ideas, memory boxes/scrapbooks/lists of achievments etc for Kai (or next baby) because I have never done it for the older two.....and there is no way I could remember their milestones now!!!
Yeh, I know what you mean Mel. I need to do it now and then carry it on if we have any more. My mum was bought baby books for me and my sister and she never got round to filling them in and she said it's something she regrets. She always meant to, but just didn't get round to it. I have done hardly any of Caitlin's so I need to do that as well before I forget things.

'Morning' all! I'm not well, wah wah! Have a horrendously sore throat and ear and head is all fuzzy. Feeling most sorry for myself :o

Laser surgery- Would love it if it was pain free!! Have a thing about my eyes. Cannot handle any kind of eye pain it makes me phsically sick. Would rather give birth than have sore eyes! Have 'dry eye' at the moment due to hormones after pregnancy and contact lenses feel like glass in my eye. OOOOWWWWW!!!

    Hope you feel better soon.

I've been for my consultation today and I can still have it done. I need to have stopped BF for three months so can't have it done until March. It's also gone up £200 since I was booked in for Nov 08 . I'll let you know how painful it is (hopefully, not very!)

MFD - get better soon hun :)

    Thanks Feelie and Krystal.

I was thinking of trying the rugby hold though I haven't heard of the nursing dance before. Normally she is so good at feeding, though she has been clamping her gums lately which got a rather loud reaction yesterday. I even checked for teeth it hurt so much.

When she next feeds I'll give the rugby hold a try and take it from there. I assumed yesterday was just because of the change with going to visit family and her picking up on the fact that I was not happy being there but for it to carry on today must mean it's something else.

.. Glad to hear your milk is back up again... How is your nipple now? (What a question!! lol)..

    :rotfl:
All sorted itself I think  No pain or more bleeding, think it's more my fear of it happening again - don't deal well with blood! Supply is almost back to where it was :)

Mel, I haven't worked in IT for a few years, but that looks pretty good to me. I've just checked the spec of the one I'm on now and it's a lot better than mine (although mine is a few years old now).

Choppy, why can't you have it done until you've stopped feeding?

I'd love to be lazered... Can't see it happening any time soon though...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Apparently your eyes can adjust whilst you're pregnant and also if you're BF. The lady today said it's very uncommon but as there is a slight chance of them changing, they allow three months after you've stopped feeding just in case.

We had saved the money before I fell pregnant so put it to one side and haven't spent it. It starts from £395 per eye and increases the worse your eyesight is. I'm very short-sighted so that put the cost up, plus apparently I have thin corneas so need to have something called Intralase which is another £300 per eye . The total price is £2590 :eek::eek:. They do 10 months interest free credit so we're going to do that as the money may as well be in our account as long as possible :money:

Your DS will calm down eventually. Is he allowed to read in bed? Do you read him a story or anything? My boys settle better if I read them a story or juggle (yes I learned to juggle to entertain DS2 when he was youger and poorly) or anything really so long as I spend some time in the room with them one on one/two, no baby.
    /QUOTE]

We do the same bedtime routine that we have always done. Bath or wash, teeth, pj's bedtime story or 2 cuddle and kisses and sleep but it has been minus the sleep part so i guess it is all the upheaval a new baby creates and the fact that it has been xmas and he has had 2 weeks off school. If he really isn't tired after all that we do let him read in bed.

Hubby is doing a roast for dinner and it will be ready in 30 mins so we both then hopefully can spend some time with ds play a board game and then make a nice bed time for him. fingers crossed he goes to sleep pk. Having both kids awake all night is a bit much.
