They can't track actual views of people's pages, only 'active' things - so Liking, commenting and wall posts. So not so much stalking as the opposite really, you don't get the stalkers showing up!

i didnt know Claire was a childminder.....i was on the nicma website, and was actually thinking of becoming registered myself. although i dont know if i could do it!
Something to think about if you are genuinely interested in this...
I can only speak from my experience in finding a CM, but I chose mine because it was obvious that she really loved doing it and wanted to to it, and wasnt doing it as a way of getting paid while looking after her own kids :o
For example, one I met had two girls of her own and looked after a boy, and she had only pink toys, pink dvds, pink cutlery etc, and when I went the boy was making jewellery with the girls! She also told me that she was planning to "get a job" when her children were at school, so I dont think she really even classed childminding as a job!
In comparison, mine has 5 kids of her own but the youngest is 11. She has had an extension built onto her house for the kids to play in, and the extension has floor-to-ceiling storage full of toys.
I know I'm not everyone, but I know I was put off by CM's that had their own children at home... MFD was the same, but ended up with a CM with her own kids at home, so you never know!

OOH my to do list for 2010!

    Book a wedding
    Lose at least 4st!!
Take on another day at work a week
Get Seth in his own room!!
    Get the cats going out
    Use the car less

Not worrying about debts til after the wedding :o they can wait til its paid for! Bad I know, but I'm probably going to have to go bankrupt to get rid of them and I dont think the insolvency practitioners would allow saving for wedding funds :o
Fairy dad mother said yesterday he would go halves with us on the reception cost :)

Hi Aless :) I admit that south London is not as bad as I feared :p Yes, DW is Californian, from the Bay area by San Francisco, lovely part of the country! Where are you from?

I'm originally from Texas but have lived over here for over 3 years. Hubby is English. San Fran is lovely - only been once, but really enjoyed it.

scruffy (sorry multiquote fail) - yeah a lot of people have said that's a good thing to do! so start at 6 months and then say, "you're half a year"; "you're one-and-a-half", etc?

FINGERS CROSSED, hopefully Finn turned a wee bit of a corner last night - he successfully slept in his basket from 8pm - 5am last night!! Well, with feeds in between of course but he went back to sleep after all his feeds - and only not at 5am b/c he got hiccups! I can totally handle getting up & feeding every 2.5/3hrs so long as he sleeps in-between them...really hope this isn't just a fluke and he starts doing this most nights :D.

We're going to venture to the library today so hopefully my little man will behave himself in public.

My goals for 2010 are fairly simple...
    - lose baby weight + extra from pre-preg, hopefully mostly in time for my sister's wedding in July. I know I won't lose it *all*, but I'd like to get back down to a 12/14 size as had only fairly recently gone up to 16 before getting pregnant.
    - breastfeed Finn for as long as possible, successfully do baby-led weaning when he's ready
    - make mommy friends locally and make a huge effort to socialise more
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

    Morning all

    Im snowed in

Feel exhausted, I was playing poker till 3am, thought the kids would be going with their dad for a few hours today and I could have caught up on some sleep, but with the snow it doesnt look like anyone will be going anywhere.

Came out £550 richer :j though.
