:rotfl: Oh the joysoh MOTM don't you tell her about numbers - please! I'm trying to keep up with her as it is! :rotfl:

now I know bits in bold are stuff not to skip over but can I be a real thicket and say I'm not sure what to say about the nanny coming?
unless you mean :j:j:j because you couldn't face it last week, and I'm glad you can now
Perfect response, thanks
I'm nervous/excited.
Will stay downstairs for half an hour, explain a bit more about Toby and let him get to know her. Then upstairs for a lie down and a read (or surf on iPhone). Have snuck chocolate upstairs in advance.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
we walked to a friends house today which is about 5mins away. LO wore her reins and we walked holding hands - it took us almost 20 minutes as every lampost and bush was very interesting

:T Aw bless - how cute!
V has only just started pushing the walker/trolley thingy, but can cruise the furniture and does the stairs amazingly quickly!
I know you shouldn't compare
, but Joe was 18 months before he walked and Liv 9 months - hopefully V will be somewhere in between.
Have you got plans for her birthday? Not long now. I bet she'll have the most fabulous cake!

Have you got plans for her/for you while she's there?

Yay! Go Annabel. That sounds like fun. ha ha.
If everyone agrees on a list, I am happy to compile it. You could just give whatever basic info you want -
Fitzio, mum to H, bn September 09, still on mat leave until July.
MOTM, dad to 7 girls, age x-X, wonderful new girlfriend.
Feelie, mum to Toby 9m, likes BF/slings/co-sleeping/meeting people!
Or you can just put info in your sigs. Mine already has it, and Susan suggested it before, but not everyone does it. I suppose the benefit of a list is that it would allow people to compare to see who has LOs of a similar age.
As I said, I am more than happy to do the list if everyone agrees, and you all post or PM me the details. Might take me a couple of days though! Don't mind if people would rather not though. xx0 -

typical...Finn hasn't napped properly for 3 days (and didn't sleep much last night either). And when does he finally conk out? 20 minutes before we need to get ready to go a local mummies meet-up. I'm so torn whether to leave him (he could be out for 10 minutes or 4 hrs, there's no way of knowing) and skip it (but am quite desperate to meet local mums) or go to the meet knowing he will of course wake up b/c he needs a change, put on coat, etc. but might fall back asleep in pram?
help! what would you do?

thanks everyone for your comments re SIL. I know she was in a very dark place at the time and she did not know that i would have to be induced that week. We had taken the decision not to tell her things as she (when on an up) would call constantly and it all got wearing and then she would go down and we wouldnt hear from her for months. wasnt sure i wanted her in our lives and also for things that had been said and done previously. (could write an essay on it).
part of me wonders if i had told her there was a possibility they were gonna induce me that week would she not have done it??? when she was on a high it was all 'i cant believe i'm going to be an auntie' and 'C's going to have a cousin'.... she had rang us the morning she did it and i took the call. think it was her goodbye call, as she rang all the relatives over the course of the day, there also had been an article in the newspaper about the effects bi-polar etc can have on your children and a story bout someone who also had commited suicide....
i think too much
i do show K her photo and say that's your auntie J...and I have told him that he wont get to meet her...
sorry i;m crying now so gonna post this and have some deep breathes. i think i need to post a thread really to get it all off my chest but i'm scared as i know posters can get a real rough time when people dont like what you have said.
didnt want to bring anyone down and sorry if i have
