GRRRR.
Husband has decreed that because everyone's sick, we need to move to a hotel. Fine. But we have stuff to package up that needs to be shipped to Germany. I suggest three alternatives for buying moving boxes and he finds a problem with each one - and after complaining about the amount of stuff that needs to be done he falls asleep.
Now to feed Molly, put stuff in envelopes for posting, and get on with the shipping dilemma.

Afternoon all, must be another weekend of sicky babies....
OH has just taken Henry to hospital, he fell over on way to my mums yesterday and scrapped his head but was ok, ate some dinner but was then really clingy to OH. Woke up a couple of times in night but got up this morning and ate breakfast fine... since then he has been really quiet, wont drink much and not interested in food...he's not been sick but wanted a sleep very early today considering he was only up at 7.30...
He also has some eczema for the last week and now generally feeling down in dumps so he's taken him just to be on safe side... i now feel guilty for not taking him yesterday but he seemed ok.
PS I just cant seem to get into the sales shopping even online...Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -

Yay for first Izzy steps and hello to aless and always! Aless, Seth slept in our bed til he was about 4 months old, he just couldnt settle without mummy and daddy cuddles. Only thing is, now he is 9 months old and has never managed a whole night in his own bed, and demands to be brought in somewhere between 3-5am
if you're ok with it, then thats awesome, but if you dont want LO sleeping in your bed as a long term thing, persevere with the cot while Finn is still small enough to be easily malleable!!
Oh, and Finn is a gorgeous name!
This will make you wee more, so I'd recommend sudo on your lady bits about 10 mins before a wee, it acted like a waterproof numbing layer for me and seemed to help. DH worked out where my graze was and did this for me.
What an :A
The last thing I would allow was my OH down there, even if was for medical purposes!! You are a very brave lady!!
Right, I'm using my brand new slow cooker for the first time todayI put a pork casserole on this morning at about 10am on low, and its looked cooked and done since midday
its really bubbling away, the sides are boiling to touch and the lid is rattling! Is this normal? According to the instructions it should take at least 10 hours to cook a casserole on low!

Oh its a Breville one that OH got me!! Its a 4.5 litre one, sounds like it might be the same as the one you took back if its the same brand and doing the same thing, typical!Mummy to

Hi all. Just off to catch up but hope u all had lovely xmasses
Can i ask a quick breastfeeding question. Toby is 6 weeks old tomorrow. I think I am producing quite a lot of milk, as it quite often causes him to pull away and cough towards the start of a feed and it will often continue spraying out. He will often feed for say 10 mins only on one side and then maybe another 5 mins after, then be tired or just not inyerested in having anymore. Friends with young babies say theirs feeds for 20 mins without stopping, so would Toby feeding for less long be because he is getting more out quicker hence not needing to stay on as long? Or as each baby is different i shouldnt compare? I think i am just wondering if this is why he quite often will only go for 2 hours ish between feeds. TIA!!Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Boo, in the early days you tend to have an abundance of milk and a fast let down... This is why they pull away and you get a stream of milk hitting the sofa on the otherside of the room
This is normal and it does settle down as your supply starts to meet his needs.
If he is happy and content with his feed then he is getting enough, he would let you know if he was still hungry... Every baby feeds differently, some get milk more efficiently, some like to take their time... It is quite possible Toby gets as much in 10 mins as your friends baby does in 20... It could be why he only goes 2 hours... Or that could be because he's currently at prime growth spurt age... Don't be surprised if he wants to slip a couple more feeds in over the next week or so... Or it could just be that he's a bit thirsty one time... Or a bit peckish the next time... Or just fancies a cuddle with Mummy another time... If you think how often you go and get a cuppa... Or a glass of water/juice... Or nibble on a biscuit... Or want to pick him up and have a cuddle... Is it over 2 hours each time? (Cos I know I don't go 2 hours between drinks / snacks!)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
