Weezlie, if you don't mind posting on the washable breast pads when you're done with them I'd like to suggest a fairy twofer :)

Edit: :rotfl: at Fergie and his party adventures and Feelie, I was going to get Molly a swimming ring with a seat in it but that's cause she's only small and I'd feel better about it.

I knew what you meant, just wasn't sure someone else would read it right IYSWIM :)

My boys are having the jab on monday, I've ummed and ahh-ed over it for ages but decided to get it, The risk isn't any higher than with the seasonal flu jab (that changes every year) from what I've read and I have no doubt that Edgar would end up in hospital if he caught it as he refusses all medicines so I think its best to have it

    Me too!
My Fairies have a set of avent washable breast pads if anyone is interested?

Is it sad that I thought I would see if you or Weezl let LO's have the jab before I decided about J as I knew you would have done lots of research on it? :o

It's just a variation of the normal flu vaccine which is changed each year anyway.

Feelie - my sister had one of these (like the pink one) My stepdad just used to chuck her in the pool & she always bounced straight back up and would bob around like a buoy :rotfl:

Buttons just thought i'd reply as this happened to my friend, well she was actually on the receiving end of the water lol It will fall to the council if they are responsible for the boiler, and if he has damaged the wall paper they may not pay for it, same thing my friend done as it was peeling and they refused to cover the costs of it (insert confused smiley), But the council may tell him to claim his own insurance, then they will battle between the insurance companies as to who is liable for what damage as it is accidental and was indirect damage.

Don't know what insurance you have but some of the contents insurances dont cover this sort of thing, and buildings cover is provided by housing, HTH

Feely, we have one of these (thanks to some very awesome fairies!). Only taken Rhys swimming once - really must go again! - but it was really good to be able to stop holding him for a while and have somewhere safe to put him when our arms ached :p

Mmmmm.. OH is cooking posh steak sandwiches :D

I was telling OH about it and said I thought I'd thrown out my receipts (I refuse to dig in the wheelie bin but he claimed he would!), but then found one just peeking out from under the sofa this morning :D Unfortunately you can't have all £5 in vouchers for Pampers, you choose a selection up to the value of £5 over those brands, but there is a £1 off Pampers there :)

Better than nothing though and might get a couple of the other coupons as well.....Bah Boots receipt is only £9 so will keep it until I have another one..

Just had homemade chinese and other goodies from the Chinese supermarket much more :money:than take away

well done maz, I'm amazed you have the energy for HM lovely food :) We ate a lot of packet stuff for the first couple of months :o

Sugar, you asked if I had a plan for getting organised for the labour. I was wondering what people thought of this plan: Nowish, assemble a labour bag as if going in to hospital.

At 35 weeks start putting together stuff ready for a possible HB (can't have one for 2 weeks after that, so should be enough time.)

Or do people think that's a bit late, cos if I buy a pool on ebay that often takes longer than a fortnight...*misses that shruggy smiley*

sami, I really like washables and was going to get some more, but when you first posted about these I thought they should prob go to someone who'll get more than a fortnightish of use out of them.

So if you don't have takers from proper BFers then please keep me in mind? :)
misses if you'll use them, then they're yours :) just pop me a map ;)

FYI Beenie and anyone else who favours TT breast pads, OH informs me they're 1/2 price in tesco again :D
I've got all my fairy post things ready to go.

Does anyone have opinions on baby floation devices? Me and LO are going swimming, and I'm thinking we'll just go 'au natural'? (no floats armbands, but with clothes! Funny story, I went to a nudist club once, to fufil my lifetime ambition of swimming nude).
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
