Oh Bu66er! I didn't mean it like that!

I just meant we have a lot of newbies, naturally with lots of questions, like we were last year! It was meant in a good way! :D

I like to help when I can - it doesn't happen often though! :o
I knew what you meant, just wasn't sure someone else would read it right IYSWIM :)
Just a quick question - have any of your babies had the swine flu vaccine? got letter today for LO but altho hubby had the vaccine before christmas I decided not to have it as I thought not enough research had gone into it.... now not sure what to do as I would blame myself if she caught swine flu.
My boys are having the jab on monday, I've ummed and ahh-ed over it for ages but decided to get it, The risk isn't any higher than with the seasonal flu jab (that changes every year) from what I've read and I have no doubt that Edgar would end up in hospital if he caught it as he refusses all medicines so I think its best to have it

sami, I really like washables and was going to get some more, but when you first posted about these I thought they should prob go to someone who'll get more than a fortnightish of use out of them.

So if you don't have takers from proper BFers then please keep me in mind? :)

a lot easier. I really should work out how to use the others!

I think it was SM wondering how to get from Piccadilly to TC, you can jump on the metro inside the train station then the shuttle bus which I think is about £5 from memory or if you walk from the train station to the bus depot a dayrider's £3.50, its about a 5/10 min walk. Sorry if someones already told you, I missed a few pages out so you may already know now.

Hmm, my DD doesnt seem too impressed with Take That? Maybe she isnt mine after all!

I knew someone else lived in Manchester! I PM's fattybooboo cos I though it was her, I got my Boo's mixed up.
Please join us!!!! Its on the 2nd Feb - would be lovely to meet you :)

Sorry for all those who can't meet up - Em I can understand how you feel but maybe people genuinely forgot you were local to them. :)

I love seeing new posters with ickle tiny babies and love helping them with stuff if I can. I love hearing about the things that my labour buddies babies are up to like Kian, Kezia, Christoper, Keiran, Holly, Elena. I love hearing about all the stuff that V, Ed, Lexi, Kai, Fergie, Benjamin, Seth, Dylan, Jayden, Rhys, Andrew, Molly, Caitlin, Caitlyn, Amber, Maddy, Erin are doing so I can look forward to seeing Jack do it. I also love hearing the stories about the olders ones as well like Keira, Alice, Charlotte.

(I will have missed people out, if I have it's not because I don't love you it's because my memory is worn down from singing too many nursery rhymes :))

My advice to people is if you don't have time to catch up THEN DON'T! Just come on and let us know how you are doing - we can let you know any major stuff! If anyone feels left out then SHOUT, we will listen.

I guess I can understand some people feeling left out, I do post far too much and it will be less now I have a social life for me & my boy. The thing is I have posted on this forum for a year now and lots of people inclduing Sami, Jillie, MM, SM, Harley, 3, Sparkle, Elle etc have been a big part of my life in that time.

OK that was a bit deep for me so back to the usual drivel!

J has just demolished a bowl of sweet potato! He absolutely LOVED IT! I couldn't get it in his mouth fast enough - he kept pouting his lips for it in between spoons :rotfl:
I worry that he eats too much food but they do say baby will tell you when they are full. Jack's not refused a mouthful yet :o

Got my madras in the oven and going to go and cook the rice now. I'm starving!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I've got all my fairy post things ready to go.

Does anyone have opinions on baby floation devices? Me and LO are going swimming, and I'm thinking we'll just go 'au natural'? (no floats armbands, but with clothes! Funny story, I went to a nudist club once, to fufil my lifetime ambition of swimming nude).

OMG buttons thats awful! i think that he would have to claim on his own insurance as the damage is in his house and they would claim from the council?
how are the cats? we have our very first kitty and she is puuurrrrfect :D
What's for you won't go past you
  • Feelie when I first to LO swimming we used a ring with a seat unit built in - not all the time but just when she seemed to get fed up of being held. Now shes older we use a life jacket thing with tubular floats in that you can take out as she gets older.

ETA we ALWAYS wear cozzies too ;)

eta have you just changed your sig or am I being really rude and confusing you with another poster? Oh boy, sorry if I did!
