I think my post was taken a bit out of context

I just meant the reason its hard to keep up is cos theres a lot of ladies over from the preg thread, I didnt say newbies were a bad thing! Why would I think that? *insert shrug here*
If people find it hard to keep up, just jump in at the end of the page! I used to try and keep up, now I just skim over the last page or twoMummy to

3 - This is ds2 who has gone...he's only 7!! Ds1 has never slept out at a friends house?? The parrents must be brave, have you done a sleepover at your house yet, I am being pestered by ds2 to have his 2 best friends over one weekend.
Jennynoo - Do you not worry about not getting your LO into their own bed. My friend had her little girl in with her and had an absolute nightmare getting her into her own room/bed she was 7yrs old before she manged it fully and even then she would wake up and cry in the night.... I am not meaning to put you (or anyone else) off doing it, but just wondered if you had thought about when and how you will make the transfer.
I am the opposite you see, my kids are not even allowed in my room, never mind my bed and with the exception of ds2(who was a very clingy baby day or night) they have all been great sleepers from a young age. If they are ill or restless at night I go to them, never bring them to me....I think that may sound harsh to some people but it works for us and means me and dh get our own space to do 'couple things;)' (although given that we are on baby 4 maybe we should think about co-sleeping:p)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Do you think that salty chilli mixture would go on tripe? OH has some and I would like to make it palatable. It makes me gag in its normal form.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Can I be nebby
(thanks for that word, Elle, never heard it before you used it one here) and ask why you're avoiding peanuts? I'm a nut fiend and would find it so hard!
Well, I feel a little less stressed as we just had a mini-breakthrough. LO woke up in his cot, we put his glow seahorse on and he re-settled himself.
:T:T
I'm avoiding peanuts, as I'm still BF. The advice has changed, to say you can eat them while BF unless you have allergies in the family (and depending on who you ask, if there is excema, asthma or hay fever in the family). We have all 4 in the family, and when I spoke to the doctor about it she said that the advice keeps changing so often she didn't know either, but it might be an idea to play it safe. I miss my peanuts though
I've not been to Wagamamas, or had scrambled tofu - I keep meaning to try doing it myself, but I've never got around to it. One day

Me, Mum, Sis, Liv & V are doing it! We're running (:rotfl:) while Mum walks with V & buggy!
Mel The sleepover craze probably started about a year ago for the 8th birthdays. Liv had hers last October for her 9th, her and four other girls. It wasn't actually too bad. They came at 5pm and we did pressies. then we went for an hours bowling and on to Pizza Hut where we had to sit at a separate table to the girls because we're not cool!
Then back to ours at about 9pm with the girls in their pj's, snuggled under blankets watching a scarey film (Coraline) with popcorn while OH & I hid upstairs.
After the film (11ish) they were allowed to watch another up in bed, quietly. I fell asleep, but OH had to go and tell them to be quiet when they were playing hide and seek in her room at 3.30am!
Mums came to collect them at 11am - and Liv slept most of the afternoon!:beer:0
