    How crap is that?
It's not our fault they have replaced IB with ESA but now they are punishing us who have IB. Where's the justice in that?

If you re-read the info you will find only those on icome based ESA get the payment. IB just like contribution based ESA is based on your NICs and you would not be entitled to the payment so it really makes no difference.

cwp payments are not paid because you are in reciept of dla its paid on other benefits, not dla, any enquiries ring income support who pay it.
  • Hi...I checked our postcode on NYE as we received one payment for £25 into our account, the postcode checker said that we should be receiving 2 payments up to the 30th December so my OH called the benefits enquiry team who said that just because the website says 2 payments doesn't mean we will get 2? They said it is like a lottery and someone who lives on the opposite side of the street might get the payment but we might not...Does anyone know if this is true? Sounds ridiculous to me but would like to know whether to expect the second payment or not....?
    Thanks

If you have had two triggers you will receive two payments. However, they will not necessarily be paid at the same time.
    Gone ... or have I?

You need to know which type of ESA you are on. Do you have a partner that works, any savings etc?
