    Hi there

Just to give you an update.

Even though its triggered for 3 CWP's in my postal code area, nothing paid into the account yet.

I checked online banking earlier today and just now, where my hubby's JSA was not shown on the account earlier, his JSA is now showing its been paid in but not any CWP up to now.

I will check the account daily.;)

    Just to post up again.

My autistic son receives High Rate DLA with the severe disability premium with tax credits, and hubby on income based JSA.

    Who is eligible?

You may be eligible for a Cold Weather Payment for each week of very cold weather in your area if you get Pension Credit or income-related Employment and Support Allowance with a support or work related activity component in the main phase. You may also be eligible for a Cold Weather Payment for each qualifying week if you are getting Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance or income-related Employment and Support Allowance in the assessment phase and have one of the following:
    • a pensioner premium, higher pensioner premium or enhanced pensioner premium
    • a disability premium, enhanced disability premium or severe disability premium
    • a disabled child premium
    • Child Tax Credit that includes a disability or severe disability element
    • a child who is under five in the family
Found this info on this link here if anyone who requires some advice on this matter.

When do they update the list of postcodes as it only goes up to Dec 30th and no Doubt there will be many payments over the next week or 2 with all this cold weather.

Well mine is still not in so gave them a little call....I was starting to think I had got it wrong and I didn't in fact qualify!

Apparently, it is being done on a rolling thing and I should receive payment in this week..oh and yes I do qualify.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Am going to check our account again shortly, so far "3" triggered but nothing up to yesterday, although I am aware they don't pay the 3 payments in one go but separately.;)

O/S forum will help with hints on how to keep warm with less heating. The best one I found is to heat only one room, if the kids get too cold in their bedrooms they will come through to the livroom for a heat. Use electric blankets instead of heating . As I say, the O/S forum is great on all this. :)
