As the weather has been so cold lately, I was wondering about winter fuel payments. I am in receipt of higher rate DLA and I got £60 last year, but can't find any information about eligibility.

And is winter fuel payment the same as cold weather payment?

I'm under 60, but have needed the heating on high most days.

God knows what the bills will be like!!

Thanks for that Richard. Couldn't remember what the £60 was for, only that I wasn't expecting it so it came in very handy.

Think I'll just have to put a few more layers on, then!

My apologies, i thought that wfp was paid to people on certain benefits as well as over 60s.
