  • Ohhhhh! I've got another trigger.

I didn't think it had been that cold.
    That's a nice 2 payments I'm waiting for. 1 payment received.

TRIGGER. That's my word of the month. Have you noticed, this is the word we all use and check, and yet, the minute you mention it to Income Support, it's like we are using a different language

I am entitled to CWP, have had 3 triggers for my postcode, 2 have already been paid but there is one more, i rang esa who said no, they only have record of 2 triggers.

I pointed the woman on the phone to the direct.gov website and asked her to put my postcode in to see for herself, she did and then confirmed that yes there were indeed 3 triggers, we then both confirmed the dates for the 2 payments i have already received (the day i get the payment in my bank i also get a letter giving me the dates the represent).

But the 3rd payment is somewhere between the 2 i have already received and the woman claims that the possible date was not cold enough.

This has confused me somewhat, if a trigger has happened then payment should be made should it not? the information is on their own direct.gov website.

    Help?
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

if it shows 3 triggers then 3 should be paid, ring and speak to a supervisor this time.
