To qualify, you would need to be in receipt of a 'means tested benefit' which are :- Pension Credit, Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance or income-related Employment and Support Allowance in the assessment phase.

Only if in receipt of one of these, does the criteria of Disability premium (DLA) count.

    Still nothing here.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
  • nothing for me either.
  • Have you tried putting it in writing yet??

On the Cold Weather Page, Direct Gov website, it suggests if you think you should have received a payment, but not, then to contact them. There is a link from there.

DX2 suggested it, so I gave it a go, and my first payment has been received.

Write, giving your details, state that you are entitled, and the reason that gives you the entitlement. Also tell them why you feel that the payment has not been made automatically.
Basically, just spoon feed them all the info.

    It's always worth a try.

Same here! Phone IS again  if I haven't has any cwp within the next fortnight to phone again. Another trigger also 4 payments outstanding atm. Also to add for those still waiting for payments it might be worth while taking a print out of the postcode checker, you know when it tells you how many have been triggered;) just incase.
