  • I think it got pulled because people were calling me (and others) a liar, saying we worked for the company - that sort of thing - I couldn't make them believe that I'm just a mum who ordered one for Christmas.

I'm sorry for anyone who hasn't go theirs in time, it is really bad. I still believe they took on too many orders and then the bad weather caught them out - they should have been a lot more organised
  • I've been trying to contact them but just get the same automated email which is very annoying, be nice to hear from a human being. They should have sent them Special Delivery not just recorded because that way they could have guaranteed them to arrive before Christmas day. It's just gutting, especially after all of the reasurances they've given on the website and in emails. It's a real shame, I would never consider buying anything from this company again, this has been a terrible experience and I am still waiting for the Knitted Character to arrive.
  • Ive sent emails to Google checkout requesting a refund, and had an email back to say that they will give the seller 5 working days to respond....

Its not even about the money to be honest. Its only £30.00 (i bought two), its the principle!
Why should they get away with it!? (thats if it a scam of course. And if it isnt, im still disappointed that its not arrived before Christmas as PROMISED!!!).
Its a cheap present, but it was the one that i was most looking forward to giving!
  • Its 10.40 am and it has just arrived! Cant quite believe it! It is fine, very cute and well made. If anyone from the company reads this please learn from all the posts on here. You obviously are genuine but please try to improve your communication with your customers and give yourselves more time to make them so people don't get concerned.

    You are absolutely right
  • Glad you got yours dannclan1, i'm just praying that ours comes today to!
  • I really hope you get yours too, Jimbobob and everyone else who is still waiting.
I forgot to add to my previous post, in case 'Sally' reads this, that mine arrived by normal first class post, I didnt have to sign for it and it wasn't recorded delivery, also the company should not take payment for the product before it has been despatched. It is just not good business practice.

Yes, someone on another forum said this too - which is odd because mine was recorded - unless yours was sent earlier and they thought they wouldn't need to?
  • Post has been delivered.... NO knitted character, what a surprise! I bought this on the guarantee that it would be here in time for Christmas... it isn't... I have nothing. They should not make such bold statements as:

"We have undertook a final dispatch today using Royal Mails recorded and guaranteed next day Packet Post delivery service - if you are one of the few who are yet to receive your character he will be arriving tomorrow morning."

    Even worse:

"Please (please!) don't worry if he hasn't yet arrived, delivery is guaranteed for xmas and we've just the final few to dispatch now for the big day."

This is clearly not true! This is false information!

They are imposible to contact for any explanation, it's an absolute disgrace. I am very upset as even thought it was relatively cheap, it was one of the main presents. This company is a farce and I shall be reporting them to trading standards for false advertising and I recommend that nobody touch them with a barge pole. Disgraceful way to treat consumers.
  • I'm sorry you didn't get it in time Jimbob09 :(
